Wolverine Origins Questions (Spoilers)

I'll fix a couple of your digits.:cmad:

Let me go get my ***** saw. Bone saw. Bone saw. Freudian cock slipped out of ***** last night and then I couldn't continue with the sex I was having because I was kind of limp.

Why do your generally good tastes not extend to DD:csad: Were you raped by a thirteen-year old in a devil costume on halloween or something:csad: Is that why you only like Man Without Fear, because he's barely in costume in it:csad:

How did you know about Billy Myers' costume?! Who told you? I'll f***ing kill them!! :cmad:

Ahem. No. Nothing happened to me. I'm perfectly normal. NORMAL, goddamn you!

Well, let's face it, you have an irrational hate for DD, I can't fix that. I guess it's for the best; opposites attract, you know. SEX WINK

I don't really hate him, I've just never been interested in him. I've read the stuff people tell me to read about him, but I'm always just bored by it. Different strokes, I guess.

I haven't read the series, but I'd hardly call Logan two-dimensional before this series started. Sure, like you said, he started off as the anti-hero, beer-drinking badass, but he's slowly grown into quite a character, although we often don't see that thanks to his overexposure.

No, no, no...you misunderstood me. I don't think THIS series (Origins) makes him a better character...I think he's evolved over the years...and especially in the last 10 or so...give or take...whatever. Earlier stuff...well, like Patch...I love him like that, but basically he's just a tough, snarky little guy who plays tricks on Mr. Fixit...:p and kicks ass. Loved that stuff. But at times it was flat, character-wise. For the most part...(keep in mind I haven't read ALL the earliest Wolverine stories, only bits here and there)... the writers over the past decade or so have really given the character more dimension...more angst and less machismo in his inner dialogue. Both work for me...but I do admit to loving the angst. Angst-****e - that's me. :D But it's not for everyone, and it seems that, as the writers started fleshing Logan out more, old school fans started parting ways, and newer fans (like myself) started discovering him.

das

I disagree. I think they've done more to devolve him to that two-dimensional Wolverine in the last ten years. The 80s are glory days for Wolverine characterization, IMO.

Did anyone inform Daniel Way during editting that Cyclops optic blasts are purely kinetic and don't produce heat.

I noticed that in the shop. I guess he missed the memo.

Probably never filed his TPS reports, either. That bastard. :(

Well its not the first time weve seen that *cough*Whedon*cough*

When did Whedon make Cyclops' optic blasts hot? I can't recall off the top of my head, but then I can't remember much of AXM's current arc since it comes out so infrequently.

No kidding, when did Whedon make Cyke's blasts hot:huh:

you're lying Darth, and if you say because Wolvie was smoking that one time in Gifted, I'll kill you, because tons of artists have put smoke as an after-effect of Cyke's blasts because they can't figure out how to show that it hit someone any other way. I would blame that on Cassaday too, not Whedon:o

Those tons of artists should learn to use lighting better. A subtle glow from the penciler and colorist would work pretty well.

How am I lying when you yourself provided an example?

And fine, its Cassaday's fault, what a hack.:whatever:

Not Jake touches his nintendo wii to Whedon.:(

You could annotate an entire issue of Wolverine and just document what is complete wrong with every panel.

I also don't have to harp on the incredible lameness of Captain America being taken out by a blood clot on his leg.

How Cyclops doesn't have to manually activate his visor anymore.

How he has spacial awareness and would not miss Wolverine twice.

How Caps body supposedly breaks down the build up of Toxins and doesn't fatigue...not even from injury.

How Cyclops is supposedly the one man who would kill Wolverine, but apparently ducks like a chicken sh** when Wolverine raises his sword. (totally out of character).

How everyone except Wolverine is apparently a novice at fighting.

Daniel Way man.....

I'm scared for Ghost Rider.:(

Dont worry, all his Ghost Rider will do is bore you to death.

The art on the New Ghost Rider ongoing is quiet good though...that keeps me reading.

Yeah I know, the first issue was good, but a "meh" kinda good.:(

The art though was solid.

Look all I'm trying to get across is that Whedon is flawless in every facet of life.

Well I'm sure it depends on what kind of injury it is.
