Worst Lines/Dialogue in Movies

why are people posting arnold's one-liners on here? those are classic!

Damn near everything Alison Lohman said in Drag Me to Hell. Though it might have just been her awful delivery.

"So that's what death tastes like!" - Sam Worthington in Terminator Salvation

Wtf is up with all the "young" lines in Star Wars? Young Skywalker, young Jedi, my young padawan...geesh.

I'd probably turn to the Dark Side too, if I were constantly bombarded with those phrases.

Anakin's "romantic dialogue" in AOTC is some of the most cringe-worthy dialogue I have EVER heard:

"I'm haunted by the kiss you should never have given me, hoping that kiss will not become a scar."

"You are in my very soul, tormenting me."

"You know what happens to a toad when it get's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." Storm in X-Men.

"Holy rusted metal Batman." Robin in Batman Forever.

When the kid ruined the "Get to da choppa!" line in AVP:Requiem.

Pretty much anything that was said in Never Back Down.

Awesome.

i never understood that line from Storm in the first X-Men movie. It was awkward that they should just cut it out.

In Xmen:Origins, I hated it when Wolverine said "I am the best at what I do and what I do isn't very nice .. blah blah"

^Agreed.

And the grand-daddy of all bad lines:

"I have a bad feeling about this." - from....EVERY DAMN STAR WARS MOVIE IN EXISTENCE!! Seriously, talk about beating a dead horse. I think Lucas gets his panties wet every time he hears that line.

It is indeed a very awkward line. I was expecting her to say something really awesome and when I heard it I was like..... wow, thats it?

Also...can't sand turn to glass?

Didn't we go over this?

It's a master addressing an apprentice. What else is he suppose to say? And because Anakin constantly needed to be reminded where he stands, as he thought he was above everybody else.

That shouldn't of been in it at all. it just fit horribly within the context. "Hey, this will get them happy!" It should never be in a Wolverine film. We know it, we don't need to hear it.

and now i will you until you die from it!

I love this weapon more than anything in the world, wanna know why? It's memorable. Sure it's a little bulky, hard to get on a plane. But, whip out a couple of swords at your ex-girlfriends wedding. They will never, ever forget it. Granted, it's probably not as intimidating as a gun, bone claws or the fingernails of a bag-lady

Manicure?

<takes out iron file>

Where did he get the file?!!?

Hold on, that Wilson line was incredible. All his lines were.

Reynolds was one of the only good things about the film.

the lines in x3 that reference mutant powers.

"You of all people know how fast the weather can change."
"Not everybody heals as fast as you, Logan."

It's a great line to bring up to Joss Whedon fanboy/girls and try to get them to defend it.

I read the entire thread and apparently all dialog that is not plot expository or does not use simple words is bad. Also, characters can't make jokes and must be grimly serious.

WTF man. That is odd.

Instead of being a cute callback on the original movies, it now feels like the whole Galaxy is filled with pesimists that can't take a potty break without "having a bad feeling"...

"I'm gonna kill you all kinds of dead"
