BvS Would Richard Grayson be part of this movie? - Part 1

Why do you want Taron to play Dick if he's too old for the character? Are you sure you don't mean Jason?

Those were somebody else's words. Something went wrong when I tried to quote him.

Now we just need the giant coin and T-Rex!

would have loved this, but even tho its a more fantastical take on batman, i guess that was just a step too far. i think the cave looks a little sterile, not really feeling it, but as that's my only gripe, i guess i'm in good shape.

I don't find the suit in the pic bad at all. It looks great for modern live action. Even with dark green underpants.
Why underpants? Because the shirt is actually short sleeved so why not go all the way?

What actor suggestions for Jason Todd flashbacks have you got, guys?

Given how Batman's suits have turned out, I guess Snyder doesn't find the original Robin design any more or less goofy than those. Though, as often happens, Tim elements have likely been given to Dick.

RIP Richy.

why would they have chosen that one? I guess the general public knows him a lot better than the one in the comics? I'm a bit of a purist, on I'm dissapointed in this decision...

I don't think Dick Grayson is dead it has to be Jason Todd it has too if it is Grayson I think they screwed up big time.I wanna see Dick Grayson transform into Nightwing in the Bat film

you and me both...this smells of missed oportunity.

Eh, even dead Dick Grayson is still better than Robin John Blake.

:lmao:

The hell is this? Never saw this before. :funny:

It's some manip of JGL in Don Jon that I remember originally seeing at Uproxxx. I can't find the article is was used for though.

Well we dont know how much of a role he'll have. If he's just a suit in a glass case, then there's not much to him is there?

That's sort of like if I said that because we don't see Thomas Wayne The Dark Knight that there's "not much to him." This person's existence and his impact on Batman's life is exponential, whether he actually appears or not.

In the years that I was a part of this discussion, the idea of Robin was seen as so poisonous to some, that any inclusion of him was destructive. The idea of Batman having a younger sidekick ruined the whole concept of Batman. In that sense, whether he appeared physically was almost secondary: the very notion of his existence that was damage enough, in the minds of these individuals.

And I laugh at them! Right in their faces. Just as, a year ago, I laughed in the faces of those who said there couldn't be a traditional batsuit.

I don't know whether this movie will be good, but it is certainly vindicating for me personally.

In any case, I hope that Todd appears in a flashback, and would love to see the Batman solo flick develop into Under the Red Hood. Another Robin appearing in future films would be tremendous as well, but I don't want to set my expectations too high.

It's vindicating for a lot of people who believed in those things.

Unfortunately, I sort of doubt that Robin will appear because that suit looks a lot like a repurposed batsuit, as opposed to a fully-realized design that would actually appear on an actor.

People, it seems Dick Grayson isn't actually dead in the DCCU. Has this been posted? The gravestone everyone is worried about may actually be just a production gag afterall.

EDIT: For some reason I am not able to correctly post the link, is on Comic Book Movie. com, search this article:

Dick Grayson/NightWing is NOT dead is in the DCEU

Oh yes, that would be great. Hopefully, the scene(s) will be long enough to see the actor in action.
And it's crucial they find the right actor for this.

I have to add that I'm not a supporter of Jack O'Connell or Taron Edgerton.

Let's not forget when they did the Bruce Wayne funeral scene for The Dark Knight Rises that the gravestone said Miranda Tate during production.

I never knew this. Interesting. Hope that's the case here.

I read it they think it can't be Grayson because the gravestone/angel appears in the trailer at the Wayne's funeral, there saying how can it be Grayson if the gravestone/angel appears in the Wayne's funeral scene because Grayson hasn't been born yet. :yay:

That was debunked. In the set pics, you can clearly see the Grayson tombstone was an additional gravestone not seen in the Wayne funeral seen. If anything, it adds credence to Dick being dead.
