The Dark Knight Rises Would you consider Jim Carrey for Nolan's Riddler if he never did Batman Forever?

If he never did Forever, or they passed on Riddler, im sure the studio/fans would be putting Jim Carrey near the top of their list during the 2000's. Especially after seeing what he can do with Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Number 23 etc.

I would after seeing him in movies like Eternal Sunshine and the Spotless Mind. Carey's come a long way since Ace Ventura and The Mask.
