Would you have preferred that they brought back....

As opposed to introducing new mutants to take the forefront of the Brotherhood, would you have preferred that they had exercised the options on Tyler Mane, Kelly Hu and Ray Park and used them in X3?

I mean instead of Callisto, Arclight, Quills? the brotherhood in X3 could've been:

-Sabertooth
-Lady Deathstrike (assuming she somehow survived)
-Toad
-Juggernaut
-Pyro
-Phoenix
-Magneto

I mean can you just imagine that war environment in the trailer w/ a 3-way battle royale between Logan, Sabertooth & Deathstrike? It would've been amazing! But regardless, X3 is still shaping up to be great, I was just thinking about this, spur of the moment...

Thoughts?

I would of liked Sabertooth, Lady Deathstrike, NEVER TOAD, Juggernaut, Phoenix, Magneto, Callisto, Arclight, NO QUILLS, Mystique, Psylocke, and Pyro would of been a strong Brotherhood. Seeing Wolverine fight Sabertooth and Deathstrike would of been awesome. Colossus could come in and try to help but get smacked by Juggernaut and start figthing with him. Callisto, Arclight, Psylocke, and Pyro could fight Iceman, Kitty, Rogue, and Beast. Storm could square off against Jean, or at least try.

Actually that line was from Joss Whedon's script of X-men...apparently the line was supposed to be humorous and according to Whedon, Halle delivered it far too serious than he had intended it to be.

The only thing with the return of Sabretooth, Toad and Deathstrike is that it would have been like Mutant Resurrection when Phoenix is also added into the mix. Sorta X-Men: Day of the Dead.

Maybe all three mutants are somehow shown as being captured and held somewhere (Muir Island?, Alcatraz?)..but I doubt it, and I don't know how they would have retrieved the body of Deathstrike from Stryker's flooded base.

i think it would've been great to have sabretooth back (hopefully tyler mane has been in an intensive acting school program since the first movie). his return wouldnt be hard to explain. he survived and was captured by athorities.

but i think singer really dropped the ball on his x1 henchmen. i like mystique, but she's supposed to be a criminal mastermind, not a servant. x2 improved her a lot.

sabretooth was an idiot. he's supposed to be a ruthless criminal that makes nasty remarks while killing you. he was as scary as a housecat in x1.

my brotherhood lineup would've been mags, phoenix, mystique (if she had made it), sabretooth, pyro, and avalanche. it's just not the brotherhood without pyro and avalanche. haha throw in destiny too. they could've made her interesting.

well i think they should of had sabretooth come back at the end of X2, if anywhere. instead of having the utterly pointless and dull character of deathstrike(as far as x2 goes) beating wolverine around for 5 minutes.
you couldve had words there, and sabretooth taunting him. they hinted at the history somewhat in the first with him taking his dogtags... why didnt they keep that going?!?
but as far as X3 goes, the brotherhood of rejects doesnt have any striking characters as far as looks. juggernaut's almost the size of the every man. toad would of been fitting (considering he's always been in the brotherhood)
the blob would of been huge.
im just thinking of the shot when theyre walking down that bridge, and nobody really stands out, they all look somewhat normal, thats what is bugging me.

I'm pretty indifferent to Toad and Sabretooth, though I thinki it might be difficult to explain why they'd suddenly popped up again in X3 having been absent from X2.

I still miss the Nightcrawler vs. Toad fight scripted to take place at Alkali Lake. If they brought Toad back in X3 we could probably see him and Beast have a pretty decent fight.

The fight would've been really cool. It's a pity that both of them didn't make it. I'd love to see Sabretooth, Toad and Deathstrike in the final battle, especially Deathstrike. She's awesome as heck.

I'd have Magneto, Mystique, Sabretooth, Toad, Blob (replacing Quill), Avalanche (replacing Arclight), Callisto and her army of Morlocks, Pyro and Lady Deathstrike as the whole Brotherhood in the final battle. And Dark Phoenix, too.

Toad and Sabretooth do nothing for me. Deadstrike was lovely as portrayed by Kelly Hu, but she's over. It was a very minimally used part. Nightcrawler would be nice to have back, but I understand the reasoning. Just because someone shows up once doesn't mean they have to be a permanent fixture on the team.
I like the way the new lineup is shaping up...with one notable absence, of course: Gambit. But someone has said that they would rather give him a full chance rather than sticking him in a movie with all these characters already vying for screentime. Here's hoping for X4 or Wolverine.

Personally, I would of liked if the brotherhood had pyro and mistique ofcourse, but also Avalanche, Toad, sabretooth and quicksilver (pietro is my favourite X villian <3)
