I'd like to see Giant Man in The Avengers, but I really don't think he's going to be in it.

From a realistic point of view, no this character would not be a good choice. There's only so much suspension of disbelief non-comicbook reading movie goers will accept. I think Black Panther and Vision would be the much better choices for future additions.

NO! :cmad:

Ant-Man is one of the primary members of the Avengers and would contribute much more than those, and without him there is no Ultron

No...Maybe Spider-Man, War Machine & Ms Marvel can be good

He's not in Avengers, people. If he were, we would have heard about it.

I never like the idea of Spider-Man being an Avenger, he has his oun problems, while the other member do too i think Spidey should be in his oun corner unless there's some big crossover or heroes and villains that he meets

Well, like I said there's only so much disbelief that your typical movie goer will accept. It's a very weird, fickle thing that your Average Joe/Jane movie watcher will accept thunder manipulating Gods, or average men turning into big, green monsters, but anyone of overly huge or diminutive size just makes them shake their heads in confusion. I know a lot of you guys are closely invested in this character in terms of his history in the comicbooks, but you have to think like an average person whose never read the comics if you're developing these movies. So please don't be so harsh with Marvel for not including this character or Wasp in the live action movies. Just think of things from a moviemaker's perspective. The characters that will most likely be considered are the ones who are normal sized and humanoid, like Black Panther, Vision and War Machine, who could take Tony's spot if Ironman won't be in the sequel.

I'm not expecting for them to introduce him in Avengers, but before Avengers 2 Ant-man is the movie that deserves it's movie to be made the most

That sounds like boos**t to me. They got a guy with a bow and arrow fighting alongside these guys not getting totally killed. You mean to tell me a Giant guy smashing trolls is too much? No, I call boos**t. :o

Either you underestimate the average movie goer, or you're just trying to pull excuses as to why he shouldn't be in the movie out of your ass.

Like I said again, the mind of your non-comic reading public is fickle. Try actually reading my posts. I can tell you that I'd think characters like Wasp and Antman are too ridiculous for a live action movie. It would have me thinking of that dreadful Justice League TV pilot that was never sold.

P.S. Aside from knowing that Beast from the X-Men is an Avenger I've never read one of the comics. I was mostly into reading Spider-man and the X-Men.

P.S. I never read much from Ant-Man, but i liked him from the moment i saw him, and Edgar Wright being in made me believe he was perfect for a movie, and imagine in an action scene against aliens Pym growing and becoming short as he jumps from ship to ship and droid to droid, potencial for action scenes is what the public seems to like, and Transformers 3 is an indication of that

And I tell you that that's boos**t.

Without Ultron, there *is* no Vision. And without Hank Pym, there *is* no Ultron.

Ergo, you *must* have Pym before you can have Ultron (created by Pym), and thereafter Vision (created by Ultron).

And like other posters above, I highly, highly doubt audiences will have selective suspension of disbelief in the Avengers Universe (or the bigger MCU as a whole). If they're willing to accept gods and high magic from other dimensions, and full-scale alien invasions and "leviathans", a giant superhero and his Tinkerbell wife/sidekick aren't going to make them suddenly say "oh, no WAYYYY."

Pym's coming; it's inevitable. Get over it, haters. Wright *will* make the movie. I strongly doubt we'll see him again until Avengers 2, and I seriously doubt we'll see anything more than a hint of his existence in Avengers 1.

But then again, that's to be expected, since this is YET ANOTHER NECROPOST from last year that Ultra Lantern has dredged up from the dead....

Seriously, mods, if you're not going to give this guy Ultra Lantern a few days off for his troll-assery, then *at least* change his custom title to "Necromancer." :yay:

People that don't like actual superpowers and could never believe a man could grow so tall, should probably not admit to having loved Incredible Hulk.

And for those people who have a hard time with suspending disbelief - we have GIJOE movies for them. Cos just "really skilled soldiers", is not what a marvel superhero film is about

I would be happy if at the very least Hank and Janet were scientist working for SHIELD in the Avengers film. Not a quick cameo, but actual characters with lines and at least three appearances in the film.

I agree

I don't want to live on this planet anymore if people don't want to see Pym in an Avengers movie.

Founding Avenger's (including Cap) >>>>> every other Avengers member

*shrugs*

Besides, they'd probably just have him get his powers from Super Soldier Serum and Pym Particles.

Just like every other non-Asgardian superpowered being in the MCU. :o

I think seeing Pym and/or Wasp in a sequel would be totally ideal...if they continue with movies, they'd have to be no-brainers..

That's only the case for four characters by the way. O_o

And every single one of them are all the characters that have superpowers that are NOT Asgardians.

Hulk: Gamma Radiation and SSS
Cap: Vita Rays and SSS
Red Skull: SSS
Abomination: Banner's blood and SSS.
