Do they really deserve it?
I'd say so. They carried the division to a greater degree than Demolition did.
Do they really deserve it?
What division though? They haven't had any classic defenses or anything like that. All they have is the gimmick.I'd say so. They carried the division to a greater degree than Demolition did.
Considering the ridiculously high senior staff turnover the WWE has you know Vince is probably a nightmare to work for.I just read the full Vice article, which is excellent. Basically the WWE is ****ed with aging egomaniac Vince McMahon micromanaging and firing everyone at will. Shane and Stephanie also hate each other and HHH kinda sucks at hiring wrestlers.
The Wrestling Thread is the big, thick, meaty third leg
Jack Gallagher is too classy for the WWE.
I can't wait until he turns heel, and begins every match by announcing he plans on cheating to win.
A gentleman would let his friends and colleagues know that he is turning heel.
Talk about sour grapes.
Do they really deserve it?
You could argue they are this generation's DX.
A direct comparison to DX is a bit of a stretch; DX was designed to be main event, and it fulfilled that potential, and then some.
A better analogy, related though it is, was the New Age Outlaws. They didn't know what the hell to do with Billy Gunn or Jesse James, so they just stuck them together as a joke. They caught on, became their own catch phrases, and really became the marketing hook for DX when Shawn Michaels left the business.
There's a large difference between Nikki Bella, who hasn't had a classic match...well, ever and the New Day who for awhile there carried the WWE as the most entertaining act on the roster.
Not only that, has there ever been a group of superstars who've taken a sorrier gimmick and made it so popular they had their own cereal?
New Day earned this. While I'm sure they'll drop the titles soon, you can't understate how important they've been to Raw.
You could argue they are this generation's DX.
By your logic, Santino Marella should've been world champion.
Must be nice making history only because your boss has beef with former employees.
Your bias is showing if you're comparing what the New Day has done to Santino Marella.
It's ironic that WWE resisted hiring indy talent for a while in part because they didn't like their working style, and now they're being hired to train the company's next generation of wrestlers.
