Maybe I am a minority of one here, but Cena coming back and taking the title off of Styles wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
I'd be fine with it if it happens at WM. It seems like something that needs to happen on the biggest stage the 'E has. Plus I want AJ to "headline" WM with the belt.

That UK championship belt is awesome but that horse should really be a unicorn. Perhaps they didn't know the significance or thought it would look like a New Day thing.

They are possibly going to spin off a UK based wrestling show highlighting the local UK and Irish talent.

The good thing is that they will probably get hot UK crowds.

I've seen people already saying this will hurt the UK indy scene which Triple H gave props to. I doubt Finn Balor would be promoting the UK Championship if it gutted the scene he wrestled in (Progress/RevPro/ICW). It doesn't make business sense to kill local scenes either. Most of WWE's current talent learned the ropes on the Indy scene.

Why not just bring back the European Championship and go with that?

That being said, that is a cool-looking belt (and distinctive to).

That belt looks awesome.

This tournament be great. I was expecting the Women's Tournament before something like this. With this being a title as opposed to a trophy does this mean WWE will be running a UK-Exclusive show ala Progress?

Triple h said if the tournament is successful there will be a spin off uk based show.

Interesting about the UK show. I think a lot of fans are not aware of the British origins of pro wrestling, and this can be a way of celebrating that heritage.

The UK participants are:

Trent Seven
Pete Dunne
Tyler Bate
Wolfgang
Tyson T-Bone
Tucker
Jordan Devlin
Roy Johnson
Joseph Conners
HC Dyer
Jack Starz
Sam Gradwell
James Drake
Tyson T. Bone
Dan Moloney
Chris Tyler
Saxon Huxley
Ringo Ryan
Tiger Ali

I'm okay with this, but there are some glaring omissions.

Also, rumor of Hero making a return to WWE seems like it might be true. Hero's always been great, but since he left NXT he's had a phenomenal matches and many great moments. If people haven't seen any of his stuff in the last year, I urge you to check it out.

The design of the U.K. Belt looks great, except the border doesn't mesh well with the plate. I wish they'd re-design the Universal and WWE championships with a great center plate like that, but more 'Muricanized of course. Needs a big bald-freakin' eagle on it!

WWE has an amazing looking new title design? Bravo WWE, bravo. That should have been the Universal Championship.

Hero just had a great match with Dick Togo at Evolve 74

Speaking of title designs, I don't remember hearing either positive or negative comments about the cruiserweight championship in this thread. I like it.

I like it quite a bit. I love this UK Championship though, probably the best WWE title design since the WWE Tag Team titles that were introduced during the first brand split.

I love those Tag titles. Gorgeous belts. I always use those in the video games as my main tag team championship.

I think the UK title, might be my favorite current WWE title design.

I want the Miz to win that belt and then walk around pretending he's British, like Madonna did.

Im excited

apparently ROH is none too pleased that McGuinness went to WWE

also Michael Elgin is done with ROH, citing communication issues with management
