The leaked description for the game (later confirmed legit) said that there is a career mode in the game, likely tailored just for current superstars and especially CAWs.

"WWE Career mode lets you create the epic legend of your rise from wrestling rookie to celebrated megastar"

However, I expect that it will be like last year's Attitude era mode, and characters featured in the 30 years of Mania mode will only be playable within that mode until the DLC for a character comes out.

I think this is why they stressed the difference between the roster for that mode, and the regular roster: Many of the characters featured in the Mania mode won't be playable outside of it until the DLC drops.

Yes you can and they will,You had to unlock most of them in Attitude Mode But people like Mankind/Attitude Rock/Austin and HBK were playable in any mode out of the box!

Actually everyone was playable in "Attitude Era Mode" minus Mike Tyson.This year I think it's gonna be just Warrior in the Tyson role.

I'll be downloading Fan Axxess yet again(I'm assuming it's returning)and use the Unlock All feature,As soon I pop in the game for the first time I want ALL wrestlers and attires unlocked ASAP!

I realy loved WWE 13 and the focus on my favorite time period, the Attitude Era .... but I really geeked out seeing the true Retro versions of The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, and even the return of the Bad Guy, Razor Ramon. I am really glad to see them including some of the big names from the pre-Attitude Era, since that period is one of my earliest wrestling memories.

And I gotta say, I've never been a Hogan fan, nor have I really liked the guy outside of the ring, but I'm really excited to see him back in a game. Plus, the fact that they have both the Hollywood and Hulkamania version is awesome. Not to mention seeing Savage, Warrior, Slaughter and Flair included is really getting me excited about this roster. If only we can finally see Owen Hart.

HBK's attire in the reveal confirms that we'll be getting his WrestleMania XIX match against Jericho.

We'll probably get Austin vs. Rock from that event as well.

Something worth noting about the reveal trailer is that they show Bret Hart wearing what he wore at WrestleMania 8.

And with reports from 2K14's Axcess event saying that more unannounced legends are in the game, Roddy Piper could be making an appearance.
