Hey guys! I can't believe that this thread I created sooo long ago is still open!!

I'm doing so well guys, I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half now. It's amazing. Our families love us, they love eachother, it's so good to have a "regular" relationship. Yes. There is magically no connection between X-Men and Homosexuals when Stan the Man himself has said that the X-Men represent any group that may fear hatred or finger pointing upon them.

Saying you can't connect homosexuals to the message of the X-Men is like saying Spider-Man isn't the ultimate nerd fantasy. Superpowers and married to a smoking hot model/actress.

Yeah, I wouldn't go as far as say it's a straight connection (no pun intended). I think he said that the X-Men can relate to just about anybody of who feels different from everyone else, and are persecuted for it. That goes for the GLBT community, to blacks, whites, hispanics, heck, even nerds.
