I hope so, but didn't Vaughn say a couple months back that in the original script there was a psi-battle that they scrapped?!

Yeah, he said it was too similar to Inception. I hope we get something because there aren't many theatrical characters in this film and to not even offer us a psi-battle... would be pretty disappointing. Especially since this is a Professor X film. Let us see the full extent of his powers.

Since when is Riptide in the movie? I can't find any cast list with Riptide on it. Surely a mutant wearing purple has to be Magneto.

Do you have any idea about Oliver Platt's character?
And the two other characters, I'm assuming they are X-Men team members, that you said you didn't want to release, are they pretty well known?

Player 1,Not sure if you know this but maybe through the grapevine on the set you found out why they decided to take a gamble and NOT use known mutants and instead go for more unknown?

Also will Magneto be one of the bad guys by the end of the film?

Any info on Emma Frost? Does she have a large role? Does she have any action scenes? We are being kept in the dark about this movie

It will probably buoy Magneto into commiting the act that sours the friendship, but I doubt that it is the ACTUAL thing that causes them to fall out. It probably just turns Magneto into even more of a dick and causes him to knock up his plans for humans a few levels.

All good Information.Reportly Bryan Singer took elements from the disregard X-Men Origins:Magneto script and combined with other Ideas.So I am assuming First Class will probally start with the expanded Magneto In COncertaion Camp before showing Xavier and Mystique as kids and will start with Michael Fessbinder as adult Younger magneto
before he meets James Mcavory.

If Moira Mctaggert starts with the Man in Black then there Is a possibilty of a Xavier/Mystique/Magneto triangle.I just hope this doesn't cause the falling out.I would rather The Hellfire Club and the Man In Black be responable for Magneto going his own way and also for Magneto not to be the one responable for crippling Xavier.

Don't worry, I don't see a reason why they would want to change the reason why they both parted ways in the comics for the movie, maybe in the movie when Charles and Erik fight against Hellfire Club that Erik slowly agree on their methods.

I think we can pretty much agree based on Information we should Ignore
The Last Stand and consider First Class prequel to X-Men and X2.
