^That's a pretty good idea.
could see Hugh jackman back as Wolverine but not Halle Berry. While Anna Paquin has
exspresed willingness to play Rogue again I don't know If a blonde Rogue would work. She has changed appearance since she playing Rogue.
If it were that easy, Angamb, X4 would have been green-lit right after X3 was released.
X3 wasn't that bad that it needs to be forgotten, every movie series always has a weak link and in this case it was x3, it wasn't as good as the first two but it was still entertaning imo.
A hell of alot better than Spider-man 3, Batman Forever or Blade Trinity imo
a lot of the X-Men comic story lines involve time travel... so for X4 to work wouldn't it be easy for a new set of mutants in trouble to (against Apocolapse perhaps?) get someone to go back in time and stop Jean from losing control of her powers so that she can face off against the newer evil... and in doing so, stop her killing Scott & Xavier....?
The problem with X3 needing to be undone wasn't that it was the worst movie ever (more just extremely disappointing after the stellar build up X2 gave it), but that it caused major damage to the franchise by killing several key characters. Xavier and Cyclops need to return for the franchise to move forward. Spider-Man 3 was god-awful, but the only major character gone at the end was Harry. The story could have still gone with Peter and MJ trying to pick up the pieces of their relationship.

£12, £11 concessions, £10 ICA Members
February sees the release of cinematographer John Mathesons latest creation with the release of the eagerly awaited re-make of Graham Greenes Brighton Rock (Dir Rowan Joffe) - quiet a journey from first gaining recognition for his ground breaking video Peek-a-Boo for Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1988. He then went on to work with some of the most successful pop artists of the 90s, including Madonna, Prince and Massive Attack. Following his work with John Maybury on Sinéad O'Connors video Nothing Compares 2 U, Mathieson went on to photograph the award winning Love Is the Devil (Dir John Maybury 1998) and after working as visual effects cinematographer on Enemy of the State (Dir Tony Scott1998), he photographed the film Plunkett & Macleane (Dir Jake Scott 1999). Mathieson then went on to photograph four features for Ridley Scott , one of which was Gladiator (2000) for which he was nominated for an Oscar and won a BAFTA for best Cinematography in the same year. Mathiesons second Oscar nomination came for The Phantom of the Opera (Dir Joel Schumacher 2004) and yet while many of these successes have been big budget film productions, Mathieson continues to also work on independent British features such as Trauma (Dir Marc Evans 2004). John Mathieson will be discussing more of the above plus his latest ventures hot off the set from X-Men: First Class (Dir Matthew Vaughn) due for release later this year.
