Wait are people really disliking these costumes?

You have to remember this is the internet. Where fanboys cry that they want something for a number of years(costumes like the comics), and when they get it...they hate it.

Personally I think they look great, minus Mystique. That's just because I don't care for the slicked back hair that we got already with the past films. Minor nitpick.

Yes, she is in the comics. She doesn't seem to be Cuban in the comics. She's kind of a moody b**** who didn't even want to go to Xavier's school.

Banshee Sebastian Riptide where art thou...Mystique's forehead is huge, Xavier looks like he is balding, Beast looking like Wolfman in the back, Azael looks horrible.

Yeah, I thought so. Not understanding all the people saying her forehead is big. It's always been about that size.

but it occured to me that the reason why we got Angel Salvadore could be that WW 3/Angel was used in X3, maybe they wanted a mutant w/wings, so they couldn't use Warren, so they settled on another character.

This film is a mystery to me. could go either way I suppose. I want to see it but am still upset at havok instead of cyke.

Is that the first class or is the first class supposed to be formed through out the film and so we don't know who is going to be in the first class yet?

also I hate to harp on old wounds but why is it that if this film doesn't share continuity with Wolverine then why not just use cyke? the only reason I could see for the use of havok would be the need to sell more toys. Unless there is a specific story telling reason I don't understand that.

Lawrence's Mystique looks like the Romijn's Mystique except with longer hair. Their faces are quite similar especially with the make-up. Angel looks pretty good actually, her wings are probably gonna be on her back blending in with her shoulder tattoos, which will be cool to see.

In Morrison's run she butt heads with Emma Frost a few times and when Frost had a falling out with her cuckoos, she took Angel on as her 'star pupil' and tried to glam her up (she was quite gross in Morrison's run).

GREAT comparison but I actually like the photo. Emma looks perfect. What exactly is so terrible??? We already knew the mutant line-up so red Nightcrawler (Azazel) was a given as well as everyone else. People need to leave their preconceived notions of how "it should be" at home for cripes sake. The Fox taint runs strong in certain fanboys. If this picture would've been released in 2000 everyone would be calling it the coolest thing ever even without Scott & Jean.
