Event cinema Australia, which is usually a reliable source put up a running time of 121 minutes. I see this is getting shorter and shorter

NY time - 140

Australian - 121

Could it be that the movie is 121 minutes and 130 minutes with credits ?

Anyways, those who've been on the hype for a long time (like I have) can probably back me up in saying that Allocine has never been wrong when it comes to running time. The film will be around 130 minutes long, most likely with credits.

that should be 2 hours exactly....i was expecting a little bit longer since there seems so much to tell in one film, but as long as they make it above 2 hours, i'll be perfectly happy about it~~~

According to whom ?? I have high hope for Pirates 4. It looks good so far, especially the mermaid part ! Fast Five was long but entertaining. It wouldn't make as much money if the audience didnt enjoy it !

I told you theres NO way FC is going to be over 120.

Id be willing to bet anything it will be 105 or under. You guys and your NY times... X3 had just as "legitimate" resources for the leak of its runtime, yet they ALL turned out to be completely FALSE. Same here with FC.

Nothing I want more than a 130+ min X-men movie though. So this is me lowering my expectations to the ground.

Well there is imo. The longer the run time the more enjoyment X-fans get out of it.

I know it wont be NEAR as bad as X3, that is bad on so many different levels. I know Im gonna probably end up loving first class, Im loving the trailers and TV spots, its my most anticipated of the summer right now, But having a low run time just sucks. Like How X1 could have used more time, even though it was still awesome.

I want FC to be able to stand up to X2.

Haha, and it's always the same discussion and the same points of confusion.

Some source comes along and says it's 2.5 hours - everyone rejoices. And everyone is certain this is the accurate source.

Then some source claims it's like 90 minutes - everyone loses their minds. And they're certain this source is wrong.

If you go in thinking that it MUST be 2.5 hours, you are more than likely going to be disappointed. The "there's-so-much-going-on-it-has-to-be-2-hours-long" argument was shown to hold no water in the Last Stand days, and it's just as unpersuasive now.

My advice? Just go see the thing.
