Probably the best DoFP fan poster I've seen so far but too similar to Transformers, still very cool nonetheless!

thats because I used a Transformers wallpaper, lol

that was the point somehow. I wanted to try the same style, font and robots eyes....

It definetly looks really cool. Lets hope Fox does something original with the posters this time, they will have to do work better on the marketing, because many other franchises and studios have done really cool stuff, and well done.

I thought about both options, but ended with the point of view of the characters from the future.

Its their past (the one they have to change), and the future of the First Class characters. (supposedly, lol)

I love this Angamb. Great work on manipulating the Logo and the colors are great .

I wonder If you could work on a poster that had just one eye of the robot and build art elements around it so that it look less Transformers as Psyonic mentioned above. I would be interested in what you could do with that. I want more stuff rolling in here. I love when X-Designers come up with great conceptuals.

My character posters for DOFP, this is just for the returning characters: (I made them small because I don't have HQ pics of the other characters)

When creating this graphic, I realized that:
-There should be 4 X-Men members from the past timeline and present timeline battling the Brotherhood- 60s X-Men consists of Professor X, Beast, Banshee and Havok while future X-Men consists of Wolverine, Storm, Rogue and Iceman. I don't want to bring back Jean Grey and Cyclops because they already died in X3. I don't want Shadowcat to comeback because I just don't like her in the movies. No Gambit and Nightcrawler too.
-I think the roles for older Magneto and older Professor X should be a cameo. I don't imagine them joining the action scenes. I also imagine Colossus and Angel having a cameo in the future timeline battling with Sentinels.
-The Brotherhood consists of Magneto, Mystique, Emma Frost and Azazel. Originally I didn't want Azazel but I realized there should be another male member of the Brotherhood. I don't want Angel Salvadore and Riptide to comeback.

Where as my first manip, was just focused on Prof X, and Magneto... I wanted this one to reflect the past, future and present...

love to see Emma and Beast along with Wolverine and Cyclops specially, since I feel its like a nod to Astonishing x-men and a few other comics.

I just dont like most of the promo pics of Emma from FC, both for her hair and January's face. Its like she wasnt interested in the photo session that day. anyway. hopefully Singer changes her hair a little bit and feels more like current Emma. (and the promo pics are better too, lol)

Cool manip M-2. Since I saw you posted on the competition topic, I think it would be nice if you use full body pics of two of them and make it seem like a still from the sequel instead of a promo poster. It would be a great contender for the comp.

Lol truthfully I actually only realized this is almost astonishing X-Men when i was done! I actually wanted to get Banshee or Havok next to Beast instead of Emma because I kinda wanted to represent FC!! Cyclops and Jean dead that's why I kinda faded them out at the back... The sentinel was a last minute addition, was a little upset that I didn't think if it before.

When I couldn't find a real good image for Banshee or Havok, I went for Emma, I felt it would be cool if they actually managed to somehow get her n cyclops together for a brief moment in the film, just a lil nod to fans!

And I definitely want to do something with Frost and Cyclops, so ill give it a shot! And the competition is only one entry, I only read the rules afterwards (stupid I know)! only got photoshop a few weeks back, and I really don't even have time to play around with it. So normally if I get some free time, I just try and make a manip or something and hope for the best!

Thanks! The Wolverine image threw me off a little because it had such a high contrast to the other images, so I really tried to get all the images too look the same tone wise atleast!

I love your designs! I wanted to do a Rogue poster as well, but I didn't want to use picks of Paquin from the film, so. I was trying to use recent picks of her, but to get that white piece of hair was a little harder then I thought it would be!

But all of it is great!!

That's an interesting twist. If those two interacted in the past, it would explain how Magneto knew about Rogue and her powers in X1.
