It would be better if has a different font and if it doesn't have a grungy look

I made this one too....

I have no manips to add right now, but everyone check out the manip thread (in my sig) in the fanart subforum

I like it!!

I like the concept. and its different from the previous movies.

I think a composition similar to this but with a more epic feel would be great for the final poster.

Who made that?

Clyde Bailey.

Here are more from the Super Punch contest. Just putting up 10 because of the image limit...

X-Men: First Class poster contest

Update: I picked Clyde Bailey's entry as best meeting the challenge of providing the "stylish and sexy poster that X-Men: First Class deserves." Thanks to everyone who participated.

Here are all the entires in the X-Men: First Class poster design contest. I'll announce the winner(s) later today.

The first entry isn't a poster, instead it's Saul Bass/James Bond-style opening credits for the movie:

Joe D!

Shane Parker.

Rory Phillips.

Dean Reeves.

Kirk Dunne.

Berry Villegas.

John J. Freeze.

Erik Johnson.

Josh Siegel.

Some really great posters, I like the ones with Xavier and Erik with the classroom as a background and the one with Charles and Erik walking and their shadows relecting on the ground.

Fox, take note.

Some of these posters are so amazing I can't even... :wow:

Why can't Fox hire talented artists like these, or like the one who did the Xavier drawing for Total Film? :csad:

Honestly, Fox should just have had some competition for fans to make posters for them to actually use and the winners would get a free movie ticket on opening day or something.

This movie honestly has the best looking fan-made posters I've seen for X-Men related movies.

I think all studios should consider getting fans to make these posters or come up with ideas. They probably are much less expensive too. Just look at the opening credits by Joe D. Sure some of those events happened after the Cuban Missile Crisis, but the idea is still great. And I love that version of the old 90's toon's theme.

It's sad that a bunch of fans have outdone the so-called professionals. Fox should fire whoever made those posters and hire these manippers.

I loved the fan-made opening credits! It would be cool if the movie opened with something similar. I especially liked the ending, with the newspapers relating the basic facts of the crisis. Something like that would set the stage for the audience nicely.

In the io9 article they posted about it, someone suggested titles like the Incredibles...

I think another example could be JL: New Frontier...

Also, in the io9 article, someone posted a link to download the music from Joe D!'s trailer...
