His options are limited since he can't really "continue" whatever he developed with the first two films.Im interested to see how Singer approaches some of the characters and issues presented in the movies he didnt direct but were slated to be a part of his X-Men 3. Jean Grey and her Phoenix backstory, as presented in The Last Stand, could be touched upon. Also, Emma Frost, whom Singer wanted to introduce as a villain in X-Men 3, has a good chance of appearing, given her role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In addition, Singer will finally get to work with his favorite character, Beast.
As for Emma, well...let's just pray his original idea of having Sigourney Weaver play her, never resurfaces again.
