Sequels X-Men: First Class

hopefully they don't make a Daredevil or Fantastic Four anytime soon I'm really hoping Daredevil goes back to Marvel cause I love DD, Elektra, The Hand, The Chaste and all lol

if there gonna make a first class they need to include Gambit halfway in the movie and before the events of X-Men 1 they should show how and why he abondoned the team. maybe some bad blood between Storm and him.

I don't ge the Gambit obsession... his cameo in XMOW wasn't even that... worthwhile... and he seemed out of place to me

IDK I just don't think he'd work in XMFC... I could see him in the current XFilm timeline, but not in the prequels

My god why can't they just do Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, Angel, and Jean?

I'm disappointed that Angel won't fit into this film's continuity. In the comics, these characters are like family and have a great relationship with each other, so it's kind of sad that both Angel and Iceman have to be left out.

Although it sucks that they can't include Hank and Bobby's friendship, I don't feel as bad about Iceman not being in this movie because he had a decent role already in the movies. But Angel's role in X3 was so minuscule that we barely saw him. Warren losing his wings, and getting metals ones could have been included in these prequels.

Oh well, though, there's nothing we can do. It will be great to see Cyclops dealing with a new leadership position, and the beginning of his relationship with Jean. I hope we see them as best friends in these movies.

agrees.... completely. I hate it when fans just want a character in sooooooo bad when there's no way the character can fit. People forget what makes a character be there character is there life experiences and situations. Gambit just doesn't fit in... period. A big part of who he is, is also Rogue

^ so true, and since they paired her up w/ Iceman he has no real purpose, just like Jubilee's role was taken by Rogue, ergo (luv this word) she had no real purpose and only works as a cameo

This is the kind of thinking that's destroying one of my favorite characters right now. Even the Marvel writers have embraced this ridiculous concept that Gambit doesn't exist without Rogue. Despite the fact that he was created without any particular connection to Rogue, despite the fact that the character's popularity built in the early 90s well before he became as attached to Rogue as he is now.

The Gambit character could very well carry on without Rogue, and is normally at its most enjoyable when writers keep her out of the picture.

In the end, I see entirely where he doesn't fit into a First Class movie timeline wise, etc. But please don't allege that he couldn't be in the film because Rogue isn't. That's just preposterous.

I'm not saying he doesn't exist without rogue... what i'm saying a large part of his fanbase and a large part of who he is, is that deap down gambit is a charmer, and a romantic sweat heart. He's one reason women go gaga for him. That part of him, and dimension to him, was brought out by rogue.

basically im just saying you take a chunk of who he is away... Fox slowly chips away chunks of all there X characters... till they're nothing like the characters we love. And this concept of forcing characters into situations just because they put butts in the seats and shut fans up for a lil bit... is the biggest reason there like that.

Truer words have never been spoken.

So X-Men First Class will be like their in high school like X-Men Evolution?

or like X-men first class... and pretty much how the first class of X-men really was....

Okay cool awesome. I wanna see Brotherhood in this though and awesome they be in high school. X-Men Evolurion was amazing they should base the First Class movie off of it. Have that fat dude forget his name and that earthquake dude although i think he was a made up character.

Blob (that fat dude) was said to be killed by Sabretooth in Wolverine, which probably takes place before First Class will. Even if he wasn't killed, he'd be far too old to be in high school. Avalanche (that earthquake dude,) who did exist in the comic continuity (with a different real name, however,) could possibly show up in First Class's Brotherhood.

The last X-series I want this film to be based on is Evolution. Though it obviously involved teens, it focused far too much on attracting that demographic.

Well they can do it a different way. Attract all kinds kids, adults and teens. It will be good if they do it right. Have X-Men take on Brotherhood. Also have that fast dude too for Brotherhood.

P.S. Was Spyke part of X-Men comics or made up?

No. There were various mutants with similar powers and/or names, but, aside from that, the character was original.

Cause with them being in high school and stuff like that. Mix the comics and tv show.

Lol in the tv show they did not have alot of drama take place in the school. Alot of the action was outside but whatever i guess.

By the way whats up with FOX having all these X-Men character orgins?
