X-Men Origins: Wolverine Official Thread

Btw how do i exactly do quick kills? Do i need to build up my combat reflexes to the max or?

Grab them with O, then beat on them a bit with square to get their health down. Then hold triangle until Wolvie's claws flash and he'll do a quick kill. I find that if you just grab then triangle like it says they'll kick you away every time no matter how much health they have.

and the quick kill is guaranteed.

I finished this last night too and am working on Hard mode now. It's a shame that it wipes out all of your stats though as I was LVL 37, had 80 dog tags, 2 kills left to unlock, almost all mutagens and 3 reflexes at Master level. Now I have to do it all over again.

I think I had 19/20 enemies killed for the Hot Potato trophy too :(

Do kills in the Weapon X arena count towards trophy numbers?

Not too sure but you'll easily get 2,000 kills just playing the game.

Anybody finding it dfficult defeating Deadpool? YOu know, the part where he's blowing up the tower?

JUst do your beast to leap to him, dodging is really good and yeah. :p Use berserk rage wheneer you can at all times.

I'll have to say, this is the best movie game I've ever played by far. Of course, I'm still hopeful that ghostbusters will end up being the best.

But this game is great for what it is. It's as easy or hard as you want it to be. There are really cool cutscenes and mini-cutscenes. I like how they really take advantage of wolverine's healing factor by having him deliberately hurt himself in some cases to get him further.

I'll have to say that I really didn't like the weapon x lab, the part right after you get the adimantium laced to the bones. It just wasn't as great after the awesome first level. But once you get out of the lab it starts to get better. Leveling up and the mutagens makes it more interesting.

If you're the type of person who likes to level up quick, you can re-play the 1st level of the 3rd chapter a few times to level up very quick. The level only lasts maybe 5 minutes or less and there are about 8 or so baddies but they're worth over 2,000 pts each. Of course, as you level up more, their point values probably will decrease.

I'm glad I'm not disappointed with the game because it's very rare for me to shell out full price for a game. But the game is a lot better than I expected and ripping people in half never gets old.

How is the difficulty to you?

Were there moments when you have to run for cover ('coz the health bar is almost gone) so you can regenerate or does Wolvie heal too fast?

i dunno spiderhulkthing... i'm planning on owning ghostbusters myself... but i dont think it'll be a great movie game...

Transformers is the next game on my list... so syked! The first was good... my only issue was the flying. i wanted to fly n e where i could, insteald i felt like i was on a track. n the sequal is going to have multiplayer which i thought the first would have. so it looks hot!

back to wolverine... i'm sure you can get your achievments in the arena. i think i saw my stats going up in there...

n e one try playing the arena with all sentinal protoypes? HARD! they start by shooting missles and then freeze you lol.

Hi guys, I played the game last night for about 8 hours, and it freaking rocks!!!:up: Watching Logan heal just never gets old, it does get a little bit repetitive but what hack and slash game doesn't, it's a blast to play and looks great!!! I love the combos, the lunge, and quick kills, it's awesome 9/10!!!:D:up:

I beat the game, and i have to say, it is an INCREDIBLE game, as I said. My favorite fights would have to be between WOlvie and Sabertooth both times, Gambit, and the Sentinels, but I'm actually not sure which one if my absoloute favorite. The Deadpool and Blob one kicked butt as well.

Im soooo disappointed now that I read that, I' probably end up with 94 of 95 dog tags an just short on some of the harder ones. If I go back an play levels before I beat the game will they count to my kills/dog tags??

Sentinel + comic costume, nothing beats that. It's pure awesome. The Sabertooth fights were also great. I loved his pounce in the cinematic, should've been like that in the movie.

The next game really needs to be completely based on the comics. This is what Raven is capable of, I don't won't their creativity to be held down by a Movie license.

is it the movie version of Deadpool or is it the comic version?

Do your clothes stay torn even as your body regenerates?

If you start a new game, all your stats reset.

Just replay the levels from chapter 3, 4, and 5.

The cloth you wear in the story get torn and stay torn as you heal. But when you level up, your clothes are back. The comic costumes sadly regenerate just like your body.

It's the Movie version.

I actually prefer that with the comic costumes.

Is there any way of seeing if you've missed any dogtags or mutagens etc in any levels? I know for certain i've missed one dogtag but it's going to make it tricky getting the trophy not knowing for certain the actual numbers.

**** it, i'm getting this and batman: arkham asylum for my birthday.

So far it's not too hard. I'm in the Weapon X base and so far died only once, because I messed up at one of the turrets.

The hard mode isn't that hard because you know how to play, you just have to be even more careful when fightning a big mass of people.

Ghostbusters isn't a "movie game". It's based on the license but follows no specific movie plot. It has a new plot written by Aykroyd and Ramis. It has all the pieces to be a good game, Transformers will be just a movie tie in.

You can't unlock achievments in the weapon x areana. I tried to get the one where you kill 25 Ghost Soldiers with their own weapon. I killed well over 25 and didn't unlock any thing
