xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

I think they should start doing this for every movie. Just imagine how much better Batman v. Superman would have been if EVERY side character got a poster.

SCOOT MCNAIRY IS WALLY

HOLLY HUNTER IS JUNE

CALLAN MULVEY IS ANATOLI

TAO OKAMOTO IS MERCY

LAURENCE FISHBURNE IS PERRY

DIANE LANE IS MARTHA

LAUREN COHAN IS OTHER MARTHA

JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN IS THOMAS

HARRY LENNIX IS SWANWICK

JENA MALONE IS CUT

MICHAEL CASSIDY IS MAYBE JIMMY

PATRICK WILSON IS THE PRESIDENT'S VOICE

MICHAEL SHANNON IS A CORPSE

SEN. PATRICK LEAHY IS HIMSELF

NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON IS HIMSELF

SOLEDAD O'BRIEN IS HERSELF

CHRIS PINE IS A PHOTO OF STEVE

Hahahahahaha

The posters are so videogamey. Reminds me of Tekken and street Fighter promo pics.

But featuring a bunch of characters who no one cares about, lol.

They are going balls to the wall with this. I guess why not? I might even go see this on novelty alone. Fifteen years ago, as a little kid, I thought the first film was lame. But f*** it, I have $7 to waste for Vin Diesel.

Loved the first. They went all out on this once. I'm beyond excited to see what they do this time around. At least it will be a million times a better sequel than State of the Union. Think it might equate to a F&F movie actually. It feels like they're aiming to reboot this like they rebooted that just extreme stunts rather than cars. Thus the whole focus on team.

Here is an avatar for the XXX movie fans.

If it's as much "dumb fun that knows that it's dumb fun and isn't trying to be anything else" as those movies are, then sure I'll give it a shot. There's not much else for me to see in January besides repeats of Rogue One after all.

So I recently watched the 1st movie on Netflix and I was floored by it. Absolutely dumb but I couldn't help myself from enjoying the crap out of it. This movie looks amazing, too. What interests me is to see how they transfer early 2000s EXTREME to 2017.

Ya'll remember when Vin tried to be a serious actor for a blink second? He did that lawyer flick in which he gained weight and A Man Apart, a brief role in Boiler Room as well.

I prefer him this way tho.

January has resident evil, underworld and XXX choose your poison :woot:

So Samuel L. Jackson is in the movie (lol)...Where is his character poster?

Yeah, he's more deserving than most of them.

This movie does look pretty fun, besides some icky visual effects sequences.

Well I don't care much for RE. I like the Underworld films well-enough for what they are (although the fourth one was pretty "eh").

Meh to Wick, RE, and Underworld. Never could get behind any of those. Gonna stick by Vin, his only film that has let me down is Witch Hunter. Yep, I even enjoyed Knockaround Guys. Plus, I have a strong feeling they're aiming to revive this like they revived F&F and made it the powerhouse that it is today.

Guilty pleasure month. Hollywood are not helping January's reputation at all.
I wonder if we will ever get a big comic book film in that month.

Okay, I have to admit, I like the second trailer (other than that uber fake-looking last shot). Looks like it could be a lot of fun. A few random thoughts...

Damn, Toni Collette could still get it.

Is that Tony Gonzalez that Vin just knocked out of a plane?

YAS RUBY ROSE.
