The Ascension defeated Adrian Neville and Corey Graves to win the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles.

Ooh, maybe my prediction of a new Heyman guy might come to fruition on Sunday.

So its official: Styles Vs. Dudley at Bound For Glory?

I was wondering the same, plus [BLACKOUT]Kassius Ohno[/BLACKOUT] being jobbed out on one of the 4 eps rules him out.

Also.....

I like that the main WWE angle is bleeding into NXT with JBL replacing Dusty as GM.

I can't believe they turned Leo Kruger face.

I wish they'd just let Sami Zayn's win stand so he could run as NXT champ until the end of the year and jump to the main roster at the start of 2014.

I personally would love for Kassius Ohno to turn heel and feud with Sami Zayn once he DOES become champ and take the belt off of insufferable ass Bo....though it is intentional

Yeah AJ won. I don't follow TNA as much as I do WWE so I can't say that I'm excited. But I know Styles is TNA's main draw, so good for him regardless. I just wonder if his contract is still set to expire.

I'm thinking a title win may be part of AJ's contract negotiations, but he deserves it for his loyalty and enormous contribution to TNA.

So wait, AJ won? I couldn't watch it live tonight and was going off NDX and Hunter's conversation. It sounded like Magnus had already won earlier.

Did you predict Graves or Neville?

TNA President Dixie Carter returned to television tonight on the No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling. While meeting with general manager Hulk Hogan, Dixie announced that MMA legends Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz have been pulled from their product by Bellator. The story is that Bellator was not happy about how physical a role the two fighters have played in TNA, and they are pulling Tito and Rampage to protect their upcoming debut pay-per-view.

For the last few months, Rampage Jackson has aligned himself as a member of the Main Event Mafia, while Tito sided with the Aces & Eights later into the summer. While this could all be part of an elaborate story, it's also possible that TNA is responding to the negative criticism of bringing MMA stars into pro wrestling, and scrapping the angle altogether before Bound for Glory.

I think it's more likely Bellator pulled them because they were getting negative feedback from the MMA fanbase over them appearing on a wrestling show, as they have this snobby attitude towards pro wrestling.

Haha! That whole conversation was like the 3 of us being booked by latter day WCW and having no idea what storyline we were in. :D

If that's the case then GOOD F-CKING RIDDANCE. I wont miss their asses at all. They can take King Mo away too while they are at it.

Agreed, I hate it when wrestling companies put a big spotlight on guys that aren't actually wrestling for them.

- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that it shouldn't come as a surprise if WWE gives up on the current Miz as a babyface experiment.

- WWE Superstar The Miz recently spoke to Sports360.com during his Abu Dhabi promotional tour. The former WWE Champion also mentioned that some of his close personal friends inside the business include Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Christian, CM Punk, and part-time star Chris Jericho.

Missed the vast majority of Impact tonight while I was watching my Patriots set offensive football back 60 years. #getBradysomehelp

But, I caught the end of Styles/Aries, the end of Bully/Kenderson and end of the BFG series final. Very pleased with the outcome, which COULD be part of their negotiations, but I do believe Bully/Styles was the plan for Bound For Glory all along. I think the outcome of THAT match will speak more of their recent negotiations than the result of Styles/Magnus.

:D  I think it's the right call, now TNA just need to fill out the card.

I've been really negative toward TNA as of late, so it's nice to have something to feel good about. I don't like being so negative but this Aces and Eights vs MEM angle, coupled with what I feel is a lack of good midcarders, is driving me nuts. Hopefully TNA gets better starting with BFG.

Also...

Apparently there was a segment in which AJ Styles ranted on Dixie Carter about how she brought in big name talent and replaced good wrestlers. He also spoke about not having a contract. Dixie came out and basically told AJ that if it weren't for her, he wouldn't be where he is today.

Please...no...don't do this.

So they're still ****ed.

TNA needs to strip their roster bare and bring in the best the indies had (before the 'E picks them all up). See what works and what doesn't. It should be easier to do once BFG is over and they don't have any PPVs set until... what, Lockdown? That's March, right? Gives them ample time to start building new stars.

The roster is beyond stale at this point.

I think Bully/Styles was the plan as well but last year it seemed Roode vs Storm was and they threw a curve ball to cater to Hardy as his contract was nearly up, and in fairness Aries getting so over was an unforeseen complication.

I feel the same, I've always cut TNA slack but the group warfare angle is played out and on top of that both factions are very dull and in one case filled with lower card scrubs.

So they're still ****ed.

They have Genesis in January I believe. I agree they need an enema though and an end to the company takeover stuff in general, TNA have used that way too often, they need to develop more individual characters and not hope throwing them in a faction will get them over.

Well the six man tag main event sounds fun but where is Aries? and I HATE the title change in there.

As for the last part, TNA need to realize AJ Styles is no CM Punk on the mic and Dixie sure as hell can't pull off the Vince/Triple H role, this is a terrible direction to take things.

@OnTheAir

That last spoiler is scary. Will we see the heel turn that nobody wants?

So I am gonna guess at this for the BFG card.

TNA World Title Match
Bully Ray(c) vs AJ Styles

Bobby Roode vs Sting

Bad Influence vs The MEM (Joe & Magnus)

Knockouts Title Match
Mickie vs ODB vs Gail vs Velvet

Full Metal Mayhem X Division Title Match
Manik(c) vs Jeff Hardy

Tag Team Title Match
Gunner & Storm vs Wes and Garrett

Chavo vs Hernandez

I dunno where Aries fits in. :csad:

Well, that card would be something worth watching. So you know TNA won't be giving us that.
