Excellent Impact as the BFG series matches delivered and we knew AJ Styles was going to win the series. Also, the World title match was brutal and awesome as they left it open-ended depending on the contract situation with Ken Anderson. Everyone stepped it up big time, especially Bully Ray, Ken Anderson, AJ Styles, and Magnus.

As for next week, I'm looking forward to Jeff Hardy and Manik as well as the 6-man tag team main event. Mickie James' contract is also up this month, but she may have to re-sign since she's in a relationship with Magnus.

If Dixie Carter does turn heel, it could be intriguing and they could use reality such as the budget cuts and talent releases. That could be the basis of the heat she could get. It also looks like they're making AJ Styles into a combination of CM Punk and AJ Lee. The source of his anger is Dixie herself than anyone else.

Well the six man tag main event sounds fun but where is Aries? and I HATE the title change in there.

As for the last part, TNA need to realize AJ Styles is no CM Punk on the mic and Dixie sure as hell can't pull off the Vince/Triple H role, this is a terrible direction to take things.

Aries' absence is strange, but sometimes their talent only appears on one half of the tapings. Sadly, that usually means that you aren't involved in any storylines at the time. This happens a LOT with Hardy. You'd think they'd want one of their big names on every week, but maybe they're handling him with kid gloves given his history. Still, with Aries, I hope they have some type of storyline prepared for him after his loss to Styles.

That final segment could lead towards some terrible television. I hope she surprises us and it turns out to be a good role for her, although I am tired of the evil authority figure storyline (even though I can't deny that WWE is using it extremely well at the moment).

That's my fear. If they really are going to do this, I'm hoping that she actually does surprisingly well. But, I'm not holding my breath.

I think it's more likely Bellator pulled them because they were getting negative feedback from the MMA fanbase over them appearing on a wrestling show, as they have this snobby attitude towards pro wrestling.

I don't think it was the MMA fanbase that convinced Bellator to pull them. Bellator has been getting terrible ratings besides their first show on Spike, and they are getting a ton of bad press for their decisions of late. I think they just decided to scrap Tito and Rampage to try and salvage what little good graces they have left. A lot of fans turned on them because of how they kept one of their biggest stars from going to the UFC, they blatantly went against their own rules to give King Mo an "interim" title shot instead of giving the guy who knocked him out his earned shot at the title based on their tournament rules, and then the ridiculous Tito vs. Rampage ppv that is about a decade too late. With all of their bad press I bet they figured to take Tito and Rampage off to keep one of them from tearing a quad while in the ring or something goofy.

I know that a lot of MMA fans can be ******ed towards wrestling, but they're the idiots that no one listens to. Kinda like how there are some dummies with us in the IWC that no one would pay attention to because they never make sense. Ya know, those guys who loved Punk, then hated him. Loved Bryan, then hated him when he got over. The same types that chant "boringggggggg boringggggggg" and then 10 minutes later are chanting "this is awesome! *stupid clap, stupid clap* this is awesome" during the same match.

TNA President Dixie Carter returned to television tonight on the No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling. While meeting with general manager Hulk Hogan, Dixie announced that MMA legends Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz have been pulled from their product by Bellator. The story is that Bellator was not happy about how physical a role the two fighters have played in TNA, and they are pulling Tito and Rampage to protect their upcoming debut pay-per-view.

For the last few months, Rampage Jackson has aligned himself as a member of the Main Event Mafia, while Tito sided with the Aces & Eights later into the summer. While this could all be part of an elaborate story, it's also possible that TNA is responding to the negative criticism of bringing MMA stars into pro wrestling, and scrapping the angle altogether before Bound for Glory.

What really makes me upset about this is...Rampage was one of the biggest stars from UFC and he is still a draw, unlike his tomato can opponent, and to pull him from TNA's biggest show one month before the event when he would've been a definite help to garner buyrates for it is just beyond stupid.

Sometimes, I wish Dixie got fired. She is just clueless.

I've told people on those boards that I understand an adult not like pro wrestling, but if you didn't watch it as a kid, you probably had a terrible childhood, and that it is ok to admit you liked it growing up, instead of trying to be Mr. Tough Tapout Guy.

Lesnar becoming UFC Champion along with his reign was great because it shut up the anti-wrestling MMA guys who didn't think WWE wrestlers were talented.

It really burns up so many MMA fans that while he was there, Lesnar was easily the biggest draw the UFC had. I just don't understand why having MORE eyes on the product is a bad thing. Take UFC 100 for example, a lot of "casuals" bought it to see Lesnar, but they also got to see GSP worked Thiago Alves over for 25 minutes and Dan Henderson drop possibly the greatest KO I have ever seen on Michael Bisping. That KO, all by itself, probably turned thousands of people into permanent fans, even though they tuned in for Lesnar.

Honestly, I'd have to agree that Lesnar is at least one of, if not, the biggest draw UFC ever had in terms of bringing in casuals. I think it was Lesnar, combined with the madness of UFC 100, combined with the increasing acceptance of MMA at the time, combined with the success of UFC Undisputed that helped increase the popularity of UFC.

I just looked into it, and Lesnar - Mir at UFC 100 has over 1.6 million buys (a record for UFC), nearly a half million more than their number 2 selling ppv, and much better than their recent PPVs.

Lesnar is the biggest draw in the history of MMA I would say. I generally think he's overrated as an fighter though. There's no way he should have gotten a title shot with a 1-1 record and he didn't hold the title very long. However, Brock can sell tickets.
