Did y'all see that Cesaro was the Clip of the Week on The Soup last night?

@ Hunter Rider

Its true about management not liking employees who are marks. I remember a story about a former writer who got scolded by a senior official when he complimented Johnny Ace about his work in Japan.

I know, I've heard that before as well but how does complimenting someone's work or marking a big moment you achieve make someone a mark? It doesn't. I bet if you went up to Vince and complimented him on the genius of his 15 minute segment where he pulled stuff out of JR's ass or the brilliant choice to have Rosie vs Trump, you'd not be considered a mark.

Enzo Amore is pretty good on the mic. I could see his *****ebag Jersey act and "you can't teach that, BADA BOOM REALEST GUY IN A ROOM" catchphrases going down well. The guy is a heat magnet. WWE could put him in a feud with Zack Ryder for who is the biggest Jersey Shore knock off.

He's a funny character, I think he's got more chance ending up as a manager than as a wrestler though.

For those of you that missed it, an inebriated Flair took over the panel discussion in a way that WWE did not appreciate. He talked about a number of subjects that the WWE didn't want addressed at a company function (and probably anywhere). Ross tried repeatedly to get Flair in line but it was just not going to happen that night. Flair wouldn't stop hijacking the presentation. While people from the videogame actually enjoyed Flair's act, WWE officials most certainly did not. They have been fighting for years to get mainstream acceptance for their product, to appeal to advertisers that want to reach children, and much of the content at that presentation was diametrically opposed to what WWE wants to present itself as.

This is one of WWE's biggest faults and has been for years, they need to stop pretending they are something they aren't, none of their wrestlers are choir boys and the business is full of bitter, spiteful, egomaniacal *****ebags and bullies with petty agendas.

About the JR thing:

- I am going to wait and see what he has to say about Meltzer's report of his departure before bashing WWE.

I say this because whenever there has been something reported about him that is negative, he's always refuted those rumors. If he says that Meltzer's report about his WWE departure is pure nonsense, I don't think the WWE deserves to be bashed, because of JR says it isn't true, we should not believe it's true.

For me, this is wait and see what he says.

While Ric Flair was entertaining, he went into business for himself by taking up time telling stories instead of letting the other guys talk. I can understand why WWE was pissed because the whole thing was supposed to promote the videogame, not be a Ric Flair shoot interview.

I think you can expect that with Flair and it's sad because he might need help.

The departure of Jim Ross seems to come out of left field and too close to the videogame panel fiasco for me not to believe the rumors. Also it's too late for Jim Ross to do any sort of damage control. People are going to believe what they heard first. I hope this isn't really the situation , but it's hard not believe it based on how they have treated J.R. over the years.

what did Flair say that was so bad?

oh, and DarkSentinel, you got your name back? are you the same DarkSentinel as before?

According to WWE, Ric Flair saying that Cena drinks every once and a while is the worst thing ever. And he was talking about his recently deceased son Reid among a few other things.

Apparently he talked about his son Reid dying, mentioned TNA and basically took over the panel saying stuff he "wasn't supposed to say".

Which is weird because apparently 2K liked Flair going on a roll. It got them more promotion than they thought.

Taeler Hendrix is so cute.

His story about deceased son was great thought and painted WWE/Vince&Triple H in a great way

I didn't see the "Flairbomb" in its entirety, but I keep on hearing that it was pretty bad.

A side note, I was riding my bike back home from the movies a couple weeks ago and as I was crossing one of the more dipstick-infested intersections, a Mercedes pulls right smack dab in the middle of the crosswalk. I swear to Zod the guy looked just like Flair.

Dude needs to pay attention to where he stops :argh:

Finally...the Sentinel has come back to the Wrestling Thread!!

:woot:

Oh please, Sage and Hunter only brought you back to put over AntMan clean at the next PPV. After that, it's back to your non-speaking bit part in Green Lantern 2.

That was not a good landing by AJ. Glad he's not dead.

And I am never, ever going away.

Until I take the SHH title from X Knight and drop it to Nolan22 at Hype!sterMania XI

:hehe:
