You Have My Permission To Lounge - Part 10

I've actually come across a different complaint aimed towards Rises on a video review, that it puts theme and plot over characterization.

I can't really make heads or tails of this because I really don't see that as being different than any other Nolan movie but I thought it was worth mentioning.

What video said that?

I find that interesting, considering most complaints were about how messy or jumbled the plot was. Or how the theme(s) in TDKR contradicts the ending of TDK.

Ah yes, I've seen that. Might have to watch it again.

A musing on something that keeps nagging at me whenever I watch TDKR. What the heck happened to the Batpod after Bats rides into the alley and takes off in the Bat? Strange business.

Perhaps it ''joined'' with The Bat... or 'Nice Coat Guy' got another little gift.

He stored it in the container he went to later with Selina, or so I assumed. I guess Bruce had storage spaces around the city to house his stuff when he was in a pinch, similar to the bat-bunker.

"Whenever i watch tdkr". Do ppl even pay attention when they watch a movie lol.

I mean what he's asking about the batpod is in the movie. I don't know how anyone can miss that even after the first viewing tbh.

I enjoyed Terminator Genisys in that one view I had of it, but the more I think about it the more I wonder why I did not prepare a counter for all the times Pops told Sarah Connors to f*** Kyle Reese.

I should try to remember that if I choose to watch that movie again, or watch it just to prepare that count.

I've been encountering a poster in the Star Wars section that I currently have a growing suspicion might be milost.

Excuse me for asking a question which didn't have an answer that was obvious to me...?:whatever:

Batman hides batpod in alley. Batman brings Selina to an alley so she can use batpod. Lol I know it sounds like I'm being rude but it's really a 2 + 2 = 4.

LOL

Leto Joker from Suicide Squad is so unpopular there were still 11 action figures when all the other superhero toys had been sold as Toys”R”Us closed its doors for good.

I like Leto just fine as an actor, but WB needs to move the hell on from him and this part. First impressions are everything and he failed on all accounts.

So now Kevin Smith is on the same page as some of us, when it comes to the "i think the DCEU should have used Bale/Nolan's continuity moving into Man of Steel" way of thinking (instead of starting over and trying to play catch-up to Marvel).

I never got into that mindset, always thought the Nolan trilogy should stay its own thing.
