The Dark Knight You Know You're Obsessed With TDK When...

you know your obsessed when you keep comin to the you know your obsessed thread to tell why you know your obsessed... :hehe:

When you make a special effort to go to the final ever Imax showing in all your geekwear and badges, then spend the next day depressed and in tears 'cos you'll never see it in Imax again. :csad: *sniff*

I know that feeling. I was so happy when they started showing BB and TDK double bills in the Manchester Imax.
They've extended the showings until Thursday next week but that'll be it then. Having said that, I have heard a whisper that they'll show TDK again in January before the oscars. I really hope so because I don't know what I'm gonna do when it really is over lol!

I was in line on the 17th of july and I got a sneak screening because I was the only one in line and they wanted to reward me. Then I saw it at midnight on July18 in imax then at 6 in the morning of the 18th in imax. To clarify I saw TDK three times in less than 12 hours. I was first in line to all of these showings. And I was the first person to own imax tickets when they went on sale.

Am I obsessed?

Yes clearly you are but you're not the only one. :woot: That's why I came on here cos I was starting to think whoa hold on I need help! I saw it two days before it came out officially and I've seen it 16 times in the cinema since and I'm not finished yet. And you know what? I never get bored with it - there's something new every time.

Someone might have said these, I haven't read all the posts, but you KNOW you're obsessed when...

... You have frequent sexual fantasies involving the Joker
... In fact, the Joker might have become a bit of a fetish
... You bought Joker shoes and wear them to school
... As well as the socks
... You collect the joker card from decks
... The Joker is your computer desktop background
... You cut your mouth just a little tiny bit at the corners to see what it's like

Hahaha I am obsessed with the Joker but not in a sexual way nor did I cut my mouth. I do all the other stuff though. I made an accurate Joker costume, I wear Joker socks. I quote him constantly, he's my desktop, I've dumped tons of money into products relating to him, I like writing Why So Serious on stuff and I picked up a few of his mannerisms.

Are you a bloke? No offence man but, you're crazy! You don't wanna be cutting yourself and that. Cut someone else! :cwink:

that's 105 total. but yea, brought an extra cushion!

You mean like when Gordon wipes his thumb across the screen? I do that as well! :D

Exactly that, haha :funny:
Haha, I was joking with a friend a couple days ago and sent her a text saying

"Watch out. Cops with relatives in hospitals.

Berg, Ramirez."

I told her she better have wiped her finger across the screen when she first read it :lmao:

Whoa, I didn't even remember the cell phone thumb wiping thing was connected to Gordon. I've been doing that all month randomly I noticed...

Among my friends I'm clearly the most "obsessed" with TDK but whatever haha.

- Waited in line for an hour to see the prologue (Dec. 2007)
- Somewhat participated in the trailer 2 screening viral (April 2008),
- IMAX Kicking & Screening viewing July 15, 2008 (9:30pm, waited in line for 2.5 hours)
- IMAX Midnight Screening July 18, 2008 (12:01am, waited in seats for 1.5 hours, second row)
- Regular viewing July 18, 2008 (12:30pm)
- IMAX viewing July 30, 2008 (6:45pm, waited an hour in line)
- Regular viewing August 13, 2008
- IMAX viewing September 1, 2008
- IMAX viewing September 24, 2008

I had never gone to see the same movie so many times in such a little time, my previous record was seeing a movie 4 times in theatres was shattered here. Unfortunately I asked for TDK for Christmas on DVD so I'm gonna tough it out to own it, but gonna rent it on Tuesday. Then see it in IMAX one last time in January.

5 IMAX, 2 regular, 1 trailer screening, 1 prologue screening. Compared to everyone else I'm a lightweight!

Dude, I was the 3rd guy in line for the prologue! Navy Pier, right? I remember you. I was with my buddy and we were both wearing t-shirts of the 1st released Heath Joker pic. It was just you, the 2nd guy in line, and my buddy and I in line for about 4 hours, then everyone starting to line up. We got interviewed and stuff. Good times.

105 total viewings? You, sir, are insane. *High Five* You're the man.
