I think I already have it.I worry about the general audience getting superhero fatigue , but luckily I'm not feeling any of that. I think it could be even better. However we're getting some really interesting original sci fi films this year ( Oblivion , Pacific Rim , After Earth , and Elysium).
I am always up for another Hangover though, I must admit.
Slightly more hyped for that one than the sequel. I knew from the start the rehash wasn't gonna do it for me, and outside of a few laughs, it didn't.I want to be excited about Hangover 3, but I have to wait on the trailer. I didn't like the second film that much. The group facing a different scenario could be hit or miss. I hope it turns out good.

Yep, I'd agree. I have always been weary of it happening--especially with dogs like Fantastic Four, Green Lantern or X3, to name but a few, being released--but it didn't fully hit me until TASM. I grew up a Spidey fan first and Lizard was always my favorite villain. Now, it may be because I didn't like Lizard's interpretation, but the whole movie was a "meh" for me from a year out to seeing it. Just a rehash of the origin that did some things better and a lot of things worse.
Now, when I watch the trailers for MOS or IM3, I see both having the potential of being very good, but there is no excitement about it anymore. Just kind of a "we'll see." I feel like Avengers's novelty concept and TDKR's closing status to the Nolan trilogy got the last ounce of "hype" out of me.
That said, I am sure I will see MOS and IM3 unless the WOM is toxic. Both look to be at least very solid.

I'm kind of on Moore's side when he said comics were kind of meant for their format. Not that I have a huge problem with comic movies, but I'm past the point where I wonder how everything will look on the big screen. In fact I think comics are becoming a bit movie obsessed. All the new stories are overly cinematic. Remember when the X-Men was 90% hanging around the X-Mansion b*tching at each other? When 'going out for dinner' might have been a whole issue?
For me, comics were always about the small stories. The errant sexual thought Professor X had about Jean Grey. The repressed love between the young Scott and Jean. The angst between Logan and Scott. All of that stuff is so hyperbolic in comics now, I can't simply sit and enjoy and nice, polite story anymore.
I'm glad we aren't in a world where there are only like two or three good live action comic related shows and movies, but at the same time I also liked these better in some ways when it was my little niche' interest.
There's a world of difference between the [some of] money grubbing writing of today's comics and the old Stan Lee stuff. You can feel that those old Marvel's were stories someone wrote because they really loved those characters and felt they had something to say.
So I'm glad to see so much originality in 2013 (perhaps that even started in 2012).
I've been a bit cautious after seeing Spider-man 3. I can still get excited about seeing a superhero film , but there is a small percentage of fear going into it. I enjoyed Amazing Spider-man. However the mystery surrounding his parents felt unnecessary.
I've stopped collecting comics in the last few year and part of it had to do with the "events".
I still feel like the transition form comic to screen hasn't been captured perfectly. There have been great moments , but it's still feels like a interpretation over adaptation.
