How about "no" for ever?
TDKR blows.
Give me a darker, live action Batman Beyond over this any day of the week.

Why in God's name would you skip the entire mythos and go straight to the future of it after a third Batman film?
Let Snyder be patient, mature as a director...and then make THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS in 20 years.
It'll be worth the wait.
Maybe Bale can come back and play the role again or something.![]()
I agree. How about "no" for ever?

Nolan doing TDKR? HA!
I dont think you guys realize. TDKR isnt the same kind of Batman as Nolans. TDKR is meant for alot of action pack scenes and corny ''im the goddamn Batman'' kind of lines. And obviously Snyder wouldnt put alot of character like Nolan, bevause he would be doing an exact adaptation of a graphic novel which doesnt have much characterization because they assume people reading/watching it wont need to be filled in on that.
I think your understating TDKR's symbolic/thematic/emotional value. It could be just as "deep" as Nolan's films if they included all of the political commentary (updated of course for the modern day), Batman's "final solution" to the Joker, and the conflict with Superman.
I think with a good director (maybe Snyder) TDKR could bring both the fantasy of Burton's films and the relevence of Nolan's.
I disagree completely. Batman Beyond is a great concept and was executed greatly. The episodes were mature enough, and it didn´t futurize most characters, the original characters created for the showw were well written and voice acting was top notch.DKR blows? Batman Beyond is better? I hope your not older than 10.
Batman Beyond was a good concept with horrible, corny, execution. If you actually watch an episode itll bore you to death.
as opposed to TDKR which is the best Batman comic ever. Bar none.
And there is no need for a Batman Beyond movie, we have already one.
I hope you dont mean my failed batman beyond internet series:
