Good point there, I'd like to see the same Freddy but more dark and spooky like the first one but with a more amped up version and with better characters you're able to connect with as they face a truly terrifying nightmare.

I don't see an Elm Street remake happening(at least I hope not). The only reason to remake it would be if you could bring something new to the story and Freddy's backstory has been more explained than the other horror slashers. We knew what happened to Michael and Jason,or the basic idea, but alot of their past didn't give a full, rich history. So,it was alot easier to re-imagine movies like Halloween and Texas Chainsaw. However,we all know that 80-85% of all remakes suck. New Line has wisely kept Freddy out of this trend. A remake would kinda be pointless, imo. I would like either a prequel,FvJ 2 or a brand new movie, and it looks like a brand new film will have the best chance(if people could just get their stuff together).
    Krueger IS king...

A fvsj 2 would be good....And They should because both of them (even though freddys head was cut off) were still alive.

I loved the idea of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash. That would've been awesome. Too bad Sam Raimi wouldn't let them use Ash. Bastard.

some horror flicks dont age well. as much as i love ANOES1 the ending is bad by todays standards, however that doesnt stop it from pwning... same EVIL DEAD 1 and 2... dated but classic nontheless... or Friday 13th part... well any of em from the 80s to the early 90s...

I'm serious. Horror movies have never scared me, but I still love watching them.
