Outside of the original, New Nightmare is my favorite of the series, Freddy doesn't make jokes, he diesn't **** around.

Yeah, cause that's the most realistic one and thats what they're always saying what they are about. Therewill be dream kills i'm sure just not over the top ones like in previous movies.

but still. i love New Nightmre.

Sometimes you really don't need to say a word to be frightning. Like at Mike or Jay.

Jason isnt a frighting Character to me, and neither is Michael. Leatherface is frightning to me because he has Character, and Freddy is frighting because he has Character, and I hope the FT13th reboot gives him Character.

For me,Dream Warriors is my favorite. Just barely above the original. Despite what many say,Freddy was still creepy as hell in part 3. He made a couple one liners,but unlike with the sequels he didn't laugh like an idiot at everything he said. He was still a pretty pissed off dream demon. He didn't mess around much and gave his victims VERY painful deaths. Plus,I also loved how they explored Freddy and his dream world a bit more. The film had some wonderful ideas(the Freddy snake/chest of souls;etc).
Part 3 had the best acting and characters of the series,had great special effects and some of the best deaths. Englund was at his best. You could tell Krueger was starting to enjoy what he did,but he was still very menacing. Clearly,one of the greatest horror sequels ever.

Yea i will wait to we have official word from the studio/guys who are making the remake for official casting. If billy is freddy i wish him the best of luck and hope he does well and can take freddy to all new places while respecting robert's version.

Not that I was for this remake as it is,but Billy Bob as Freddy? Ugh...no. Please,just forget this remake idea and do a prequel,with Robert as Krueger. Then,maybe a few years down the line they can start up the series with a new actor in the role of the Springwood Slasher.

He can pull it off. Way better choice than Crispin Glover. I think this is sorta like when heath was casted as joker. A lot of people hated it till they saw him. Billy Bob will pull this off.

The best in the Elm St. series are still the first one and the third (Dream Warriors). I think Englund is getting too old for Freddy, but I hope they will find a great replacement. And please, no Billy Bob; I'd boycott the new movie if he is cast.
