Well looking at the finale thread being very close to the 1,000 post cap limit. In less then 20 posts. I thought we make a thread before that thread manager does it. So here is the thread to post in once the original one closes in 20 or so more posts.

I know I hate the cap level too. It used to be 10,000. I believe shh did it to curve sever issues with threads getting so big. So we don't crash/run to slow. Also thanks to which ever mod fixed up my thread here and the one thread manager did. So any more tweets from anyone about finale shooting?

UPDATED 3/18/11: Michael McKean has tweeted that his wife is indeed in Vancouver filming Smallville. He's being very coy about the possibilities of himself appearing in the finale.
- One definite no-show for the finale: Kristin Kreuk has confirmed that she is not returning for Smallville's final episodes.
- The show has already wrapped filming in several major sets and is due to be finished entirely next week.

The wrap party is going to be tomorrow on Saturday. I think they will do post-production on the entire series finale until next week.

Perry White must be in the series finale as the EIC of the Daily Planet.

Ya I hope mckean is playing coy and came up with annette to at least shoot one scene. Also nice to hear filming is all but complete. Can't wait to see everything.

Well if the filming has pretty much finished. I wonder if people have seen Tom in the suit?...Doesn't anyone have cel cameras to take secret pictures???

Well yes of course folks probably have seen him in costume/filming with it on. Now since likely bulk of filming probably been on tthere sets/backlot. They probably keeping things hush hush and probably cast/crew on set are likely banned from taking photos that could get leaked out before the producers/network is ready to release promotional stuff.

I figured that the only people who would have seen Tom in the suit would be Peterson, Souders, and Beeman since he directed the second part.

As much as I would love to see a photo leak. I don't want to see some crappy photo. Which doesn't show off the suit in proper lighting/video procressed. If any photos do come out I rather it be released by the wb and all correct formatting.

I'm really hoping one of the entertainment magazines gets the exclusive look at Tom as Superman...and then do a big cover picture of him in the classic fists to hip pose.

Oh I am sure that they have, but why would you want anything other than an official picture? We have been waiting for this moment for 10 years now, I know that I don't want it spoiled with a cell phone pic, and I'm sure that most everyone else on the Hype would not want it that way either. However, I prefer to see it in the episode, not before (in a picture). The moment needs to be seen in all its glory, and in HD. I am with you though, I am counting down the days until Smallville is back and "The beginning of the end......BEGINS!" t:

Agreed and I am willing to bet that we will. I'm pretty sure that everyone involved with Smallville, are well aware of how passionate it's fans are.

It seems that they're keeping part 2 of Finale under wraps more than part 1 because in part 1, we have an idea of who's in it and what scenes they're doing. There isn't much coming out of the second part, except for Lex's return.

Ya I serious asi said before doubt it would end with just a tease and a quick look. That just doesn't fly any more, we need to at least have two solid scenes with tom in suit.

What sucks though, is waiting for April 15th. You don't happen to know anyone who can freeze me until then do you? The anticipation is killing me.
