I say the Rainbow Warriors beat the Bulldogs. That will continue to show the people that made this screwed up super flawed system that they need a Playoff system, and they continue to screw up.

While I might want to see UH beat UG, it is very unlikely. There is no doubt the BCS system is flawed and needs move towards a playoff, and a UH upset would go a long ways towards showing that.

Hawaii doesn't know what they're getting into. Their fans are complaining about having "bad" seats in the lower endzone, for crying out loud. They've played 'Bama a time or two I know, but they haven't faced an SEC team, in a biggie bowl game, in a dome, in the south. Will UH play well? Yes. Will they score? Yes.
I recall how previously undefeated Boise State, WAC champs from the year before came into Athens in the season opener, picked to win. Dogs soundly whooped 'em in a "rebuilding year".
So, not only the UGA fan, but the overall sports fan in me says the Dogs will emerge victorious. If they don't, well...so what? Life will yet somehow go on.

Hunker Down. This has been Immortalfire, for SHH Sports.

I think I heard the same thing about the Sooners Broncos game and how did that turn out? The Broncos beat the Sooners and made it look easy on the last play.

Well the Bulldogs proved me wrong.

But at least my Vols still managed to win.

The game was a joke. My first time at the Sugar Bowl just had to be a blow out.:down

I feel bad for all the Hawaiian fans who went through so much, just to be at the game. I talked to one guy, he had a ten hour lay over for his flight. TEN HOURS. All that just to watch his team be utterly embarrassed.

The Georgia fans were completely insane. Seriously.

That's gotta be a first. :wow:

Hawaii proved me wrong. On the two points about them in my previous post..lol

Its Official, Bob Stoops is the A-Rod of college football.

You give A-Rod too much credit. Stoops actually did manage to win a title. :o

Of course, that was only because the BCS sucks and kept the 'Canes from their duly deserved title shot that year, where they would have promptly proceeded to whip that crimson and cream-clad Sooner ass. :cmad:

Stupid Florida State and their stupid pass-dropping receivers. :down

Is he that averse to the Spread or Coach Rod? He's from Texas and I don't recall any UCLA interest when he was being recruited.

Blue needs that Terrelle Pryor commitment more than before now.

Well, Mallett can't run that well. At least not enough during one game to properly run the spread.

I imagine Rodriguez would water it down a bit until he had brought in the necessary complement of players to run it properly; like Meyer did with Leak last year at Florida. Then again, Leak only had a year left; Mallett has 3 more. I suppose if he wants no part of that offense, might as well go now.

I think I can see Mangino getting fatter.....I'm pulling for Kansas in this one....

I don't blame him.

Seeing how Mallett usually acts on the sidelines when things don't go his way (if he's in the game at all, ex. Illinois game), he's a cocky little kid. I imagine he wants to go to a place where he fits in and can start right off the bat. I'm sure Neuheisel will want him to. Maybe.

Im actually kind of happy to see him gone, but thats assuming that Pryor is coming to town...

If only you guys could have seen me jumping up and down and screaming during Aqib Talib's INT TD in the first quarter. Oh man, that was how I felt all game. BEAUTIFUL finish to a dream season for KU.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

I think everyone recruited him coming out of high school. I'm sure they offered him I just don't think he was interested in coming to UCLA.

Well remember, he's a not very fast I'm not sure how that would fit in Rod's offense.

Also, Michigan's QB coach was fired. The rumor was that UCLA would hire him and Mallett would come with him. I'm not sure about that but I think coach Neuheisel is very appealing for this kid. I seem to recall another transfer that Coach Neuheisel groomed into a great quarterback. What was his name?

Ah yes, he turned out to be pretty good.
