Is anyone else sick of hearing "Pats- greatest team ever, 16-0, blah, blah, blah" every second on ESPN? There are other teams and other stories, give them some respectable coverage. As it stands, the Patriots are 99.9% of ESPN's NFL coverage, and I am sick of it.

I'm sick of the 16-0/greatest team ever talk (way too early for that nonsense), but they should be getting the lion's share of the attention. They've been an offensive machine to this point and they just dominated the best team in the NFC (like they've dominated everyone else). The Colts, Cowboys and Packers have gotten some attention and the surprising starts by the Bears, Saints and Chargers have been stories too. New England has earned more talk than anyone else with that stacked roster and the fact that no one has challenged them.

That is because:

AFC > NFC....by a lot.

This team will NOT go 16-0 (I wish that crap would just stop). The Colts and Pats game will be very close, and they are the best teams right now, but can we cover other teams, like potential wild card contenders. That is what I want people to discuss. Discuss teams that can surprise people and sneak in a spot, not just the extremes of "They are so great" or "Why do they suck"

I want some of the teams in the middle to get some attention. The Pats have earned tons of attention, but the amount they are getting is excessive.

When you are undefeated, that is what happens. Didn't it happen with the Colts last year or two years ago?

Yes, and I felt that they got too much attention at the time. Now, when the Pats are 13-0, they can have all this attention, but IT IS WEEK FREAKING 6!!!

Anybody else impressed with Purple Jesus running wild on the bears D ?.

Yes...I knew that A.D was gonna be one of the best RBs way before others (since everyone called him brittle). Man is proving me right thus far. I hope he keeps it up.

Im kinda not looking forward to superbowl now, I mean most ppl expected the pats to face the boys in the superbowl but after seen the pats blow them apart you have to ask yourself is it really worth watching if you are not a pats fan.

That's right....still not even half way through the season.

Let's end the 16-0 talks for a while.

Well I haven't been talking about them going 16-0, but you can't silence the media or the fans. It will be around for awhile.

I think it is. I want to see how the season turns out. We are not treated to dominating teams like this often (once every few years), and many don't win the big game or make the SB.

If they do, then we have seen a special team, and should appreciate that. Granted, it depends on how well the team finishes.

Wild card talk doesn't happen until the playoff picture starts to form. The season isn't halfway over. Talk at this point is always about who looks the best and who has been a surprise (for better or worse). The Patriots are getting this attention not just because they're undefeated, but because they are annihilating teams. I can't recall a team starting off this strong and it makes sense to break down the reasons behind it as they go along. The undefeated talk is just the usual media hyperbole. I could do without it, but that's how they respond. Other teams will have to (and will) earn more airtime as the season fleshes out.

I can't believe the skins lost, too many dropped passes and the O-Line is completely decimated. I hope Gibbs thinks of something because after Arizona next week, we've got the Pats. :(

What everybody should be talking about, is if things continue how they are, then the November 4th game against the Colts could actually clinch the division if the Patriots win.

As I have always said, the media is stupid.

I mean, undefeated talk at week 6 is beyond premature...as was when they started this talk WEEK FREAKING 1!!!

I have soemthing that will cheer you up:

That always cheers me up :woot:

yeah skins should not have a problem beating a Tim Ratay lead cards team .

They're the best team in the league, although Indy is pretty damn good too, they will be getting talked about even if they weren't undefeated.

Yes they would...but getting 16-0 talks in Week 1 is insane.

It happens at least once every two years, happened with the Bears one year I believe.

Yes...LAST FREAKING YEAR!!!

We get this 16-0 BS talk starting in week 1 like every year now. We have had 4 straight years of it (though at least Indy was 13-0 before they lost). I hate it. I know the media wants an undefeated team, but I think trying to pump people for one every year is rediculous.

Bush is getting 1000 yards (baring injury) this season; willevery year he is the lone back like Faulk was; and he clearly woulda done it last year had he not split time with Deuce McCalister. If Marshall Faulk split time like Bush you think he would have gotten 1000 years? Of course not.

Faulk did it his rookie year on friggin 315 carries. Bush got less than half of that. With that many carries and his same ypc; he would rushed for 1134; about 150 less yards than Faulk did on the season (or 9 yards a game); so that point is pointless.

Bush is on pace for 700yds, so no, he is not on pace for 1000 like you said.

Indy is supposed to go undefeated every year, according to ESPN.
