I swear this has been the most lack luster October I can ever recall for pro sports... the College football has picked it up... but these NFL matchups we got coming up (or lack there of) have no juice whatsoever... and other than the Indians Yanks series... the baseball has been unwatchable. Just that all the good teams are playing the ****ty teams over the next few weeks... better now than December I guess... but damn it feels like every team has a bye this week.

That's one game though, in NOVERMBER... outside of that none of these games have any juice... it will be exciting (as well as excruciating) at the same time if the Eagles Redskins Giants keep it close in the East with me being the die hard Cowboy fan (well maybe take out the Skins... want them to go 0-16 every year)... those are the only matchups that draw any juice... I can't get wrapped up in small market teams like Denver / Jacksonville / Baltimore and plenty more... even if the division races are tight... I guess that's just the typical east coast bias fan in me talking. But some of those teams are just brutal to watch.

Really? Cowboys v Bills was a game for the ages. There have been plenty other NFL games that are great as well.

Guess that the Rockies story hasnt been good enough for you, or the 7 game Indians v Sox series.

The Indians vs Red Sox series going to a game 7 is pretty good for baseball actually.

I think that Cowboys vs Bills game was one of the best games of the year, the matchup looked horrible at the beginning, but look how the game turned out.

Hell yes, my cousin called it whe J.D. came up to bat :woot: I was all, naw he'll be betta next season. POW!!

Good Gawd, Pats undefeated, SAWX in the World Series, K.G, Jesus, and Paul.:whatever:
Too bad the Pats get that ass beat on the 4th:cmad:

Buff was 1-3 going into that game. That is not exactly a lucrative matchup. It was a good game... but that was about it for this month really. Last night's game 6 was a blowout... so were games 4/5 really. The pitching matchups have not lived to expectations.

I honestly think no body outside of Denver cares about the Rockies.

JD just erased his entire season with that swing.

Bruins are also 5-2, have one 4 in a row. Celtics have their strongest team in years.

Beware of the 4th.

College Footballs been the **** to watch if you're a USF fan/student/allumni/parent, don't know what you're talkin about.

Has anyone noticed how each and every season a hot new running back emerges with a completely different running style of the last season's hot new running back but for some reason the hot new running back always manages to remind the ESPN crew of Gale Sayers?

Wow! I really didn't expect someone to take that comment 100% at face value. Yes, it was a slight exaggeration to express my annoyance with the ESPN crew. But a few examples that have gotten direct comparison's in recent years:

Adrian Peterson
Reggie Bush
LaDanian Tomlinson

What the hell is with that impressions guy on fox? He seems to be all over the place.

Bush has been a bust so far.
