Always draft on talent.Id laugh my ass off in two yrs time when the lions draft wr Micheal Crabtree .
truAlways draft on talent.
If he is the most talented still on the board draft him. Simple.
That is a joke.
McFadden is "he best running back prospect to come along in the last decade or so to his roster."

McFadden isnt even the best running back in his class; that would be the silent superstar with the best college career of anybody graduating who is somehow absent from this list and currently leads the NCAA in rushing yards and touchdowns; Mike Hart.
He just might be more talented than him.^You forget about AD28?
This reeks of personal preference and bias.
McFadden is the best player in College Football, he is the best Running Back in the country and he very well may be the best RB to come out since LT.
Wasnt everyone saying Bush was the best back in years??He just might be more talented than him.
^You forget about AD28?
Wasnt everyone saying Bush was the best back in years??
Dudes been nothing short of a bust.
Perserson is the real deal.
McFadden runs like Bush? Im sorry, I didnt know that Toothpick Bush has ever run between the tackles before.
No, I never said that - though ESPN made it perfectly clear where they stood on the issue.
In fact I called him being a bust.
AD28?
Adrian "all day" Peterson.AD28?
Personal preferance my ass; Reggie Bush was one of the greatest college running backs ever and this list has him better in college than Bush was? Please.
If McFadden is the best player in college football; why isnt he playing like it? Mike Hart has double the touchdowns and averages 21 yards more game with the same yards per carry. Mike runs best north to south which means a much easier transition to the NFL.
Norm your one of the dude preaching how Reggie Bush is never gonna do well in the NFL; McFadden runs the exact same style; wtf makes you think McFad will do better?
For some reason beyond me; Hart gets zero attention outside of Michigan despite being virtually souly responsible for them reentering the top 20; maybe when he wins or finishes 2nd in Heisman poeple will figure out who he is; kinda sad considering hes been one of the best i nth ecountry since the very begining of his freshman year.
McFadden is reasonable; but Hart is also a lot better than Ray Rice too.
footballsfutureMcFadden was a backup the first two games of his college career, but has taken off since then. He had an amazing freshmen season, rushing for 1,113 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning Freshmen All American honors. As good as that season was, his sohpomore year was spectacular. He won the Doak Walker Award, and was the Heisman runner up after rushing for 1,647 yards and 14 touchdowns, despite being slowed by a dislocated toe at the start of the year.
McFadden is the total package. He has excellent size, speed, and athleticism. He is a willing interior runner, and will not be brought down by the first defender. Once a hole opens up, he hits it and is in the open field ready for a big play. What makes McFadden special is that he is a gamebreaker, along with being a guy that can pound it between the tackles. He has the speed to get to the outside, and the speed to outrun defensive backs.
There really isn’t anything to criticize about McFadden, other than things that every college back needs to work on. He will have to work on his blitz pickup at the next level, and work on his receiving skills. He’s proven to be a playmaker as a receiver, but has not been asked to catch the ball very often. The only real flaw in his game, may be that he runs a little upright, which will open him up for some big hits in the NFL.
Darren McFadden will be a top five pick if he makes it through the year healthy. He is the complete package as a running back, and the type of player you build an offense around.
Adrian "all day" Peterson.
