I'm licking my chops at the idea of Eli in the Frozen Tundra.

stupid penalties and a lack of execution lead to it....the Giants could have played better and I would have liked to tack on another TD onto that....but hey

I've got a feeling Wade is done.

Seeing Jerry's face get red on the sidelines was enough to vindicate that thought.

Did everyone just completely forget about Atlanta a few years ago beating the Packers? This is the same kind of stuff people were saying before the Dallas game, before the Colts game. It's one game guys, just one game. Anything can happen.

I agree to a point, anything can happen on any given week. Though this Packer team is not the team that let "Pitbull" run wild. They have a solid "D" and a run game, Farve doesn't have to carry the team like he did that year.

I don't think wade should be let go, but in order to keep jason garrett that just might happen

Nah Wade will be back... I am telling you who needs to go... Sparano needs to bolt to Miami asap... my God his unit was awful... this loss goes on them and them alone. Worst game of the season by far.

The thing is, if you are the star QB and enter into that lifestyle then you have to mentally deal with those trappings. Why did they call him "the new Favre" ?

Fran is right though, it's not all on him, it's a team game.

Romo is from Wisconsin and grew-up emulating Farve. He tries to be the Gunslinger QB. Basically, Romo has a big man-crush on Farve.

I understand, he is the starting QB but the amount of attention heaped on him due to his 'girlfriend' must be unnerving, he will mature and handle it better, its a learning experience. I guess his gun-slinger playing style and happy go lucky personality is why people make that comparison.

but does dallas want to risk losing a guy who has been groomed for the job and can be the franchise head coach...? because Garrett has basically been told the team is his if he is willing to wait....

I gotcha guys.

You're right Game, he has time to grow into his role, how old is he exactly ?

I called the Bolts beating the Colts...I feel proud of that pick.

Though I went 3-1 this weekend (lost on my Dallas over G-Men pick).

Anyways, with a banged up G-Men and Bolts heading to their respective destinations, it seems destiny has decided on Packers vs. Patriots in the SB.

Wow. If you told me a Manning was going to the title game during this past week, I would have put my money on Peyton. I have to hand it to Eli, he stepped it up when he had to, didn't make the big mistake that has plauged him. If he can beat the Packers, he can be look at as a Giant...Giant Killer.

Having watched all the games for the last 2 weekends I really think, despite all the great stuff we have seen and some of the 'hopes' here, that no one is gonna stop that Pats offense. It's easily the best IMO.

T.O. knows how the fans feel.

We're crying with him.

That was some ugly clock management on that last Dallas drive. I thought they'd do better to counter the Giants rush; leaving Barber in to block, have him flare out with a quick safety valve, use the Witten matchup in the middle of the field, something. The whole drive seemed unorganized.

The Giants shocked me and got it done though.

They'll have to shock me again next week, because I've got Old Man Favre in his third Super Bowl. :ninja:

Pride goeth before a fall....maybe if Dallas fans were less prideful, fortune would smile upon them....but alas, God seems to love underdogs this weekend

If Garret takes another job let him... there are plenty of young assistants that will crop up the next few years... you don't make that move like San Diego did... Garret wants to coach somewhere else then more power to him... he knows damn well its his job if the Cowboys don't win some playoff games next year. You got to keep this guy. I would like a new D-Coordinator though... Jerry Jones defintely needs to make some changes on that side of the ball in the coaching staff on defense and the O-line.

How were we any more prideful than Patriot fans? And look at them.

We had no reason not to be proud. That's just a ridiculous assumption.

Dallas did lose a lot of seconds on the Barber non-fumble...that killed them imo.

WAIT.

DO NOT LOOK AT THOSE STANDINGS.

Points are not doubled yet.

Where are my....admittedly poor....picks ? :csad:

Forget it-- standings remain.

It's easier that way, and better.

I just hate dallas and I'm rambling....if I was Tony I would go home, ****=(love) Jessica ******ed, and get ready for next season
