Romo sucked tonight....

Cowboys did not play well tonight....

The kicker saved the game tonight....

Cowboys got lucky tonight....

But no matter what, the team did not quit....THAT is what you take into the rest of the week, after Phillips kick their asses tomorrow.

Pretty good way to sum it up. And on that note, I am going to bed.

You also have to take into account that he has neither the recievers, nor the line Dallas has and his team was plagued by injuries. Ontop of that, he was playing against a coach who knows him better than anyone in the NFL.

Santonio Holmes is an animal :o

Matt this why coachs must have the patience of a saint. You dont bench someone who has been playing better then everybody but TOM BRADY because of one bad performace; recievers or not his numbers are through the roof. It is that simple; you play 16 games; you cant afford to lose a single one of em and Brad Johnson would be horrible.

Even you wanted to punish him that bad, benching him isnt punishing him. Its punishing THE TEAM and THE FANS. One bad performance in one half in a game you WON isn't even worth a talking to.

He isnt a 5 year old kid; he knows he ****d up. Hell hear it while watchin film and move on because frankly he doesnt have time focus on anything else except finding a way to beat The Patriots.

Owens dropped a critical 1st down, a TD, and a 2pt conversion. WTF? They still win. Just like the Titans but even more impressive.

You make it seem like there would be a cou'p among the Dallas players if Romo sat one game on the side lines with a clip board.
There would be. Because it would be the equivalent of Philips coming out and saying he doesn't care about winning, and doesn't have any confidence in the only half-decent QB the Cowboys have had since Aikman.

Look, I'm an Eagles fan. I hate the Cowboys. Would love to see them loose for the rest of their existence. But even I, in all my bias, can see Romo is pretty damn good quarterback, and this team is a pretty damn good team. And benching Romo would do nothing but hurt that good team.
Maybe, but his performances never reached the level of Romo tonight.
But that doesn't matter. When you have multiple bad games, it creates a pattern and shows you're not learning and not getting better. Playing badly in one game just shows you...played badly in one game. It doesn't give you the chance to show you're learned anything, it doesn't give you the chance to get better.

And hey, sure, Ben was benched, but...what about Peyton Manning? He had bad games. Horrible games. Where he threw 3 interceptions a game, 24 interceptions in a year. He wasn't benched. Did he turn into Kordell Stewart? Did that do anything to hurt the team in the long run? No, he didn't. And no, it didn't.

If only the Seahawks were as lucky yesterday. I'd rather see the Hawks play 'not well' as the Cowboys did tonight than what I saw yesterday. You guys still got the win. That's what good teams do, imo.

Dallas was looking ahead to NE. Can't help it, the best team in the NFL is coming to your home.

But wow, what a finish. I still haven't seen any footage yet :o

Jake Delhomme is out as QB of the Panthers. David Carr is now the starter. We had better just start planning for the offseason. There is no way he leads this team to the playoffs.

The #1 pick will probably be the Dolphins. They wish they had Brady Quinn now.

Yeah; that is it. Dallas thought this would be an easy win and didnt prepare as well as normal. It happens a lot more often then people seem to think.

I guess the thought process was Ginn would be a Hester like acquisition. Has he done anything yet? I haven't followed him in the NFL all that much.

No, not really. Like most OSU players turned pro. *cough*Clarett*cough*

Whoever gets ahold of Mike Hart is in for a big surprise; he is gonna be a star next season. 1400 yards+. I dunno who will get him as Dolphins got brown; Rams have Jackson...Hart in Detroit would be a dream. All Michigan loves him and they need a running back...

Mike Martz+Jon Kitna+Roy Williams+Calvin Johnson+Mike Hart=:wow: :wow: :wow:

Mike Hart is the best player in college football this season, period. He is showing up everyone, and literally carrying Michigan. He is a leader, wont give up, and oh yeah, hes a pretty decent running back too.

More importantly; he is a fantastic between the tackles; north to south running back. The adjustment to the NFL will be much easier for him then it has been for say, Reggie Bush, at running back. Yeah, hes in college and theres a big difference between college and the pros...however hes averaging 162 yards a game in college doing it the same way he'll be doing next year. How big is the difference really? I would expect atleast a 90 yards per game for Mike next year; unless he gets drafted top 3.

Wait a second.....how did the Bills "deserve to win this game?"

They scored 3 points offensively, and squandered four of those turnovers by doing absolutely nothing with them.

The one that won is the one that deserves to win.

I wanted the Bills to win. If nothing else, their Defense play one heck of a game.

He's a decent return man. Practically non-existent on offense.

Cameron's reasoning behind that pick was some of the most boneheaded and nonsensical I've ever seen. I don't care if he would have been a Hester clone, he's got no business going at #9 unless he can make an impact in the regular scheme of the offense.
