I know I am a little late with this, but..

Are you really that excited about that win, granted it was a highly entertaining game, but Romo looked like Ryan Leaf against the Bills defense.

I'm excited by it because it increases the confidence in the team as a whole. Romo had a bad game, but he didn't run and hide under a rock like alot of other young QB's would. He drove them down the field at the end, confidently. Our defense and special teams steped it up. That is what makes a great team. If one part of your game isn't doing well the rest of the team carries you through. Next week is going to be great.

People forget before 2004; hell in 2004; it was not Manning everybody expected to break the td record. It was Daunte. I remember watching a pregame interview of him by Dan Marino from 2004 where Daunte had 18 td passes through the first 5 games; and Marino asked if hed break the record that year.

Better than ever?
He doesn't have 200 passing yards total this year. Do you remember what Daunte was like at his peak?

He also Randy Moss during those years and an offense that was a power house.

His supporting cast isn't half of what it was in Minnesota, and from what I have seen Daunte has impressed me more this year than he did before.

I thought Romo should have been benched after the fifth but they stuck with him and he pulled it out with the help of the kicker. That's the kind of game championship teams pull out thats all there is to it. That said... its still a LONG season... but anything less than a Superbowl berth will be a bust... now I can live with the Packers returning to the Superbowl but the whole Farve comeback will wear thin soon enough and the Pack will miss the playoffs or get knocked out in the first round as a wild card...so Dallas should be able to get homefield which means its their conference to lose. Now they need some upsets on the other side to have a chance so Cowboy haters should breath easy until then.

That offense was ridiculous. Those two, plus Cris Carter and Robert Smith? Yikes.
Still can't believe they dropped that championship game against the Falcons.

That running game will help him a lot in Oakland. If Jerry Porter actually decides he wants to play, he could have a productive year.

:(

Reggie Bush isn't dominating, btw.

As a Bears fan watching that Monday night game and the aftermath of it, its deja vu all over again. And I can't help but laugh.

Me too. I said bench him but TO hurt them in the end and almost cost them their last chance.

The Cowboys surely showed they don't give up and won very ugly. Nothing wrong with that. I am not sure about the Packers yet, I think they're in it for the long haul. The true test for the Cowboys is the Patriots.

Just gonna have to deal with the drops... you have to play on T.Os strengths.... he is the BIG play guy... you go to him and 1 & 10... 2 & 4... let him stretch the field... you use him as a decoy in the red zone... or a safety net if you are trying to make something out of nothing WITHOUT forcing the football... the problem with Romo is sometimes he gets too locked down to T.O or Witten in key drives... getting Glenn back till help... Romo needs to use his check downs and slot receivers more though... too many weapons that have YET to be utilized.

The same can be said about the Patriots also.

I am excited, I get too watch two teams I have been following for years. The Patriots since as far as I can remember and the Colts since the Harbaugh era.

Insert the greatness of professional tax evader Art Schliester and Warren Central's own Jeff George:woot:  :csad:

I don't think so. The Patriots have been "for real" since Brady took over. And they have been destroying teams without some of their best defense players out there. Its a test for the Cowboys.

120 all purpose yards in his first full game is bad? Nah; didnt think so :o
He averaged 3.2 yards a carry.

Yeah, 120 yards? That'd be great for a WR, it's a shame he's a running back.

1 game into a bet that would realistically have to least 2 years is a little soon to make a final call...but 120 yards with the way that o line was playing is good.

I predict 150 next game.

And who have they beaten this year? The truth is both teams have not played good teams yet. Which is why it is a good measuring stick for both teams.

He ended the first half with 54 on 10 carries and a long of 6. The o line played like crap in 2nd half :o

And like I said on Sunday...its 1 game. If he still averaging sub 4 yards carry on week 11 or 12 Ill say things arent looking good...but its only week 5.

Ah, that's it. Blame the offensive lines.

Cause, y'know, it's everybody's fault but Reggie's.

Jussayin'...

All Cowboys fans here in Dallas did chew Romo up today. It means something that the Boys came back and won it, but Romo was still god-awful, and we know that.
