Report: Pacman punches woman at strip club

Pacman Jones reportedly punched a female lawyer at the Body Tap strip club in North Atlanta on January 3rd.

Jones apparently entered the manager's office, accusing the club of stealing money from him and falsely accusing his entourage of owing a tab. Jones reportedly lunged at the woman multiple times during the meeting, in what the lawyer said was an attempt at grave bodily harm. Jones didn't connect until afterwards in the hallway, when he reached around a security guard to "sucker punch" the woman. Not only could this be a violation of Jones' parole, it could result in the league delaying his March return to football activities, and certainly make the Titans less willing to welcome him back. Report: Ravens offer Garrett coaching job

ESPN.com reports that the Ravens have offered Dallas coordinator Jason Garrett their head coaching job.

Some local reports in Baltimore says Garrett has been hired, but ESPN reports that no decision has been made by Garrett yet. Jan. 15 - 12:47 pm et

Al Davis is up to it again jag!

Raiders Offense-TM-Raiders Jan. 15 - 1:15 pm et

Pro Football Weekly is reporting that Lane Kiffin could be on the brink of losing his head coaching job.

Kiffin and owner Al Davis have fought over control of the roster since the draft, and Davis chose to retain defensive coordinator Rob Ryan despite Kiffin seemingly wanting to hire his own coach. Davis is also angry over Kiffin's reported interest in both the Arkansas and Michigan jobs, which Kiffin denies ever having. Ryan, meanwhile, would be the top candidate for the job if Kiffin is let go.

If I was Jason Garret, I would take the Baltimore job

Garrett has spent a lot of his career in Dallas tho, and if he was willing to wait he would be the Cowboys head coach.....Jerry is basicallly going to lose his protege in Jason takes the Baltimore job

What is it with him causing trouble at strip clubs..you never hear of him causing a ruckus at McDonald's

Someone actually answered that on Yahoo Answers....they said he would make it rain with 10,000 Barbeque Packets....:yay:

Ravens Offense-TM-Ravens Jan. 15 - 2:05 pm et

ESPN.com reports that while the Ravens have offered Jason Garrett their head coaching job, there is only a "60-40" chance he will accept.

ESPN.com cites a source that says Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has told Garrett he would match any offer that the Ravens make. Jones views Garrett as the potential next head coach of the Cowboys, but continues to say he will not fire Wade Phillips in order to keep Garrett in Dallas. Garrett is currently scheduled to meet with the Falcons later today.

Dolphins Offense-TM-Dolphins Jan. 15 - 1:51 pm et

Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland is flying to Dallas to pick up Cowboys assistant head coach Tony Sparano in one of Wayne Huizenga's private jets.

Ireland is expected to return with Sparano this evening, at which point Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald speculates the wining and dining will begin. Sparano's agent reportedly has a preliminary contract worked out, and it's possible Sparano could be signed by Wednesday.

Titans Fire Offensive Coordinator Norw Chow

The Tennessee Titans fired offensive coordinator Norm Chow after three seasons with the team, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Tuesday.

The Titans finished the regular season 10-6 and suffered a 17-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the playoffs. They finished 10th in the AFC in total yards.

Chow, who was previously the offensive coordinator at USC, was interviewed for UCLA's head coach opening in December but withdrew his name from consideration. The Bruins went on to hire Rick Neuheisel.

Well, at least their loyal to the QB. :lmao:

I doubt Norm is out of a job for long.

Wade Phiilips said, "After looking at the tape, I think certainly the better team lost."

Why don't he look at the scoreboard at who the better team was. Thinking about who the better team is, is like voting in the BCS polls for who's #1.

:nono:

Well the Cowboys are the better team. The Giants just outplayed them. But it was the wrong thing for Wade to say, especially at that time.

It loosk that way......I wonder if Jerry Jones is going to give Wade Wilson his walking papers in order to keep Garrett.

Do you think he would do it if the Cowboys won that game?

Do you think he would do it if the Cowboys won that game?

It's a completely different situation....Garrett wouldn't be up for the job right now. Everyone knows Wade Phillips is a lame duck coach, there was talk about Garrett getting the job last year but Jones has his doubts, mainly because of his inexperience.

Branch gets second opinion, needs ACL surgery

Deion Branch got a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, who confirmed that the receiver will need surgery to repair a torn ACL.

Mike Holmgren said that Branch, who injured himself in Seattle's season-ending loss to the Packers, is expected to be out at least nine months, and likely longer. Re-signing D.J. Hackett immediately becomes priority number one for the 'Hawks, who could end up using the franchise tag to salvage their receiving corps. Jan. 15 - 7:55 pm et

I think Wade said the cowboys are better AND they outplayed the Giants, which is quite frankly some of the dumbest s**t I've ever heard. If that was the case, the *****es would have won. Take your defeat like a man.

Yeah if the Giants had won like the Cowboys had won that one Monday Night game where Romo threw like 5 INTs, then I would agree that the Cowboys outplayed them. But they didn't.

Jones says he'd match the offer

This makes me believe that Garrett is going to be the HC in Dallas and Wade will be gone.

Because how could you pay head coach money to an assistant?
