Both of them stay so they don't have to go to the NFL burial ground known as Detroit.

If I came out this season and went #1 overall, I sure as hell wouldn't sign with the Lions.

All the big names at QB seem to be saying they are coming back. Which begs the question what's left for Tebow to prove in College? I think he should forget his senior season and go pro this year would be his best shot to be taken in the first round. He doesn't have to worry about the Lions he'll fall pretty low but if he goes this year he might make the first round and get paid. What do you guys think?

Maybe he actually wants to finish his education....he might not even go pro as he wants to do more mission work

That he's got what it takes to make it in the pro's.

Everyone's been fawning over the progress he's made this year, if he comes back for his senior year and plays as good as he has done, why not? Maybe finally that'll stop people from saying "Great college player, he'll probably have to convert to FB or TE in the Pro's though".

To be honest, I think that Colt McCoy is the stupid one for coming back for another year.

Stafford has had John Elway, Peyton Manning and Troy Aikman hammer onto him to stay in school. 1, for educational reasons, and 2, to be a more experienced player.

From Yahoo...

JACKSON, Miss. (AP)—Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen will be the new football coach at Mississippi State.

A spokesman confirmed the hire to The Associated Press on Wednesday afternoon. Mullen will be arriving in Starkville later in the day and will be introduced at a news conference Thursday.

Mullen has been an assistant coach for 14 years and spent the last eight with Florida coach Urban Meyer at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida.

No, both enter the draft to get 40 million + guarenteed, and throw to calvin johnson.

...and lose 12 games a year no thanks....I'd sooner ride the bench, get the league minimum and be on a winning team as opposed to starting, spending 80 percent of the game on my back, and consider finishing a season at .500 a "monumental victory"

He has his entire career to win. All staying will do is hurt their draft status, everybody knows that.

The fact is, theyd likely go top 5, which means they be gaurenteed at the very least a good 25 million dollars. Thats it. Theres nothing more to it. His family and himself would be set for life, and that is what is most important to them, not winning (unless your Eli Manning where money doesnt matter, so you whine about who drafts you). Fact is, thats how it is with every athlete. You declare when your hot, all waiting another year could is let scouts find more mistakes, somebody else pass you as the top qb, or you get a serious injury. All of that jeporadizes your contract, which is what they are worried about.

:wow:

Now that is just some straight up ********!

-1,055 receiving yards (6th in nfl, with no running game or qb)
-18.8 yards per catch, best in nfl for 50 rec or more
-6.5 yac, 3rd in nfl amongst guys with 50 rec
-9 touchdowns, tied for 2nd in nfl

Johnson is the best deep reciever in the NFL today.

So I'm really hoping Alabama can put up at least 40 on Utah in the sugar bowl. It would make me so happy to see them get demolished. And am I the only one who thinks the poinsetta bowl is the most interesting bowl? I mean sure the BCS games are kind of interesting, but we all know USC, Bama, Florida, Texas, and whoever sucks the least in the orange bowl, will win their respective bowls. The matchups in the BCS arent as exciting to me as they have been in the past.

It's never gonna happen... the guy is talking out of his ass... they'd never win a law suit like that. And there will always be some network that will pick these games up... if it isn't ESPN... it will be the home shopping network or something... just like what happened to the NHL... I mean the presidents would settle for that before they settled for a playoff. I mean EVENTUALLY we'll get a playoff... but it's gonna be another 15-20 years minimum... who is gonna wait for that??? Our kids maybe... we have to suffer till then...

So explain to me how guys like TO, Kobe Bryant, Rasheed Wallace, Lebron James (all who make serious money) are visibly upset when they lose....Athletes want to win...as for Johnson, I don't doubt his abilities but no one cares because he is on a ****** team, plain and simple....Tebow even said he would rather win a national championship than an individual award like the Heisman....

Yeah but he's already said he would love to make NFL money to do real good in the mission world.

.

Exactly which is why if those other Qb's don't leave Tebow should it's his best shot. Especially if he wins the Heisman and if he doesn't they stole it from him.

Tebow already has one....if anything Harrell not even getting invited is total ********
