Texas played like ****. Alabama will crush them. TCU-Bama would be better.

They said 05 USC would crush UT too. How soon you forget that Bama came close to losing this year if not for a blocked FG

i wouldn't say he was top 5, his beastyness had him #1 on alot of the draft predictions, so i'd go with top one. That being said not just his stock went up, but everyone picked after him will get payed more cause he earned himself a couple extra mil tonight.

If the Heisman were truly based on the "most outstanding player in college football" as it's touted to be, then Suh would win it hands down. He is a frickin' beast and has been the entire season. Colt has played like crap for the most part this year. Heck, I will readily admit that my team (Texas Tech) was only able to stay within 10 points of Texas because of Colt playing like garbage. Ingram has had a good year but not what I would call incredible. Suh has been incredible.

then Nebraska should have won....even if this was a "playoff" game, Texas still won so they would have advanced

I hate the BCS as much as the next guy, but everyone with this "love the underdog" mentality wouldn't want Texas in that game even if Texas smashed Nebraska

No.

I am hoping Tampa passes on Suh for some bizarre reason.

No, I don't have a "love the underdog" mentality, I just hate Texas. I have many friends who graduated from Univ. of Texas and the mentality of I graduated from "The University" which many will say if you ask them where they graduated, just makes me want to puke. :o

Bo Pelini's conservative play calling at the end of the game was almost Les Miles amount of fail.

of course, Kel.....I know of your rage of a thousand suns level of anger towards the Longhorns

say all yall want about hating Texas but they still won. they played like **** and suh was just a beast. so you guys from Texas will be rooting for bama?

i think one of them has to win. Texas. who would you of rather seen playing?

ESPN mentioned last night that Turner Gill will be interviewing to replace Mangino at Kansas.

with Oregon on such a grand stage as the Rose Bowl, I can only imagine what uniforms they will see fit to grace us with

Congratulations BCS, you have proven yourself to be just as incompetent, as corrupt, as bad for the sport as your most heated of critics have said you are.

Putting Boise State and TCU against each other in the Bowl is an insult to their entire season. Those kids deserved a chance at a "BCS" team to prove just how inane their system is. Instead they have to settle for playing for a bowl game that has instantly become completely irrelevant.

They should have pit Boise and TCU against Cincinatti and Florida. It doesn't matter who went where, but that was the obvious quality decision.

Of course you wouldn't want to have poor little WAC Boise State embarrass the Big East champion, proving their conference is every bit as good as they are. You wouldn't want to have another example of a Mountain West conference having success against a BCS conference.

This is the first time the BCS has actually hurt the sport of college football. Congratulations *******s.
