Are you serious? Well then he is closer to Krause than I thought.

Did he not see what the Knicks did to their team to maybe get Lebron? The Knicks got hella lucky that Carmello, & Amare weren't happy. Pheonix doesn't try to trade Amare every season. He probably sticks around.

But lets say he can get Howard. Howard doesn't become free until after next season. Why not wait until next Feb?

They couldn't wait till next feb. since Perkins rejected the celtics extension offer he would have been a UFA after this season.

To be honest. I could care less about the MVP award. I want a trophy. If Rose doesn't win the MVP. But wins the ship. I would take that deal a million times over.

Well he's going to win the MVP. There's really nothing else he could do to change anybody's mind who still doubts him in that. Now it's time to go for the title.

Oh. yeah totally. I am just saying. There was a bunch of articles that came out a couple weeks ago that tried to lessen his chances.

A lot of Bulls fans went nuts. I could personally care less. I am happy for Rose though.

If the Bulls do manage to top San Antonio as well. Thibbles has got to get the COY award as well.

I think that's pretty much wrapped up as well, no matter how they finish. Like I've said before, with the Bulls situation coming into the season and with how it played out, I believe those 2 awards go hand in hand.

they won't top the spurs, they can very easily tie them though and then we won't know who gets HCA unless they meet in the Finals

If the Bulls face the Spurs in the Finals, at that point, it's not going to matter who has home court. Rose will have demonstrated that he can carry the load throughout the playoffs, and barring injury, the only team from the West that would be able beat the Bulls in a 7 game series would then be the Lakers.

dont underestimate a championship experience team like the spurs...I think the spurs can beat any team except the Lakers...

I'm just gonna **** and not bother with predictions. Whatever will be, will be.

We better have an NBA pool this playoffs or else this season is a major fail?!

As a Bulls fans do you feel comfortable knowing that winning a championship, rest all on one players shoulder? I think Rose needs more time to mature before he's ready to do something like that.

Bulls are gonna being a string of NBA titles starting....asap. Deal with it Miami. Probably we see a lot of Bulls/Heat Eastern Champ games in playoffs.

Sub .500 Pacers as the 8th seed...I'll be shocked if it even goes 5. Some peeps do say they will be better soon...but it looks like SWEEP.

I can't wait for the playoffs. Don't watch it during regular season, but like NCAA tourny, I am there for playoffs.

Do I feel comfortable with that? No, because besides Isiah and to a degree Iverson (just because they didn't win), it remains to be seen. History is totally against something like that occurring from a player like Rose. I've said it before, he has to become one of the biggest anomalies in NBA history for the Bulls to win the title this year.

But IF they were to make it as far as the Finals, he will have proven he can do it. IF they make it that far, then I will be comfortable with it. I don't think maturity has much at all to do with it. He's a basketball robot, like Thibodeau. He had an amateur coach and an ass team last season, but even then, and even the year before in his rookie season against the Celtics, he's shown he can raise his level of play in those games. We saw glimpses in his rookie postseason series against the Celtics of what he is today. He's not going to have to compensate as much now because of the team he has around him, but he's going to have to continue to play a lot of the games like he did against the Magic today or that game against the Celtics a few nights ago. Just going to have to wait and see.

now the spurs have a dilemma if they win on tuesday they risk the Lakers falling to their side of the bracket

Dude's a winner, pure and simple. Has been everywhere he's played.

I wouldn't say Rose is surrounded by scrubs.

If you take the template of that previous Bulls ships. Rose is really only missing a Scottie Pippen type dude.

Experience is the only reason I am going into the playoffs with sever trepidation.

If the Bulls can't pull it off this year. I really hope it is at least a Bulls/Lakers finals. It would be so poetic for Phil to go out beating his old team. Or Vice Versa.

Deng is a poor mans Pippen and Noah is a Rodman type player.... Boozer will be the X-Factor in the playoffs

Eastern Playoffs are solidified.

(1) Chicago vs. (8) Indiana
(4) Orlando vs. (5) Atlanta
(3) Boston vs. (6) New York
(2) Miami vs. (7) Philadelphia

That's who I got winning.

Okay, I know the Celtics have struggled recently but there's no way in hell they're going to lose to the Knicks in round one. I mean I know the Celtics have lost a lot to end the season but they also haven't been pushing very hard because they're old and its the end of the year. They definitely lost a lot in the Perkins trade, enough that they went from favorites to most likely being bounced in round two by Miami, but to the KNICKS? I don't think so.

But if the Celtics do lose in the first round by some chance, I will throw a party!

I wish Perkins would have punched Kobe`s light out the other night

All I know is... Go New York, Go New York, Go! :)

Seriously, Boston v NY. Couldn't ask for something more emotional.
