Expect the players in Dallas to not do anything different. They'll play with as much heart for Garrett as they did Phillips, knowing that he's going to be on his way out too at the end of the year.

Even if Jerry Jones decided to change Garrett's status as HC from "interim" to "permanent", I don't think they'd have any respect for him anyway, since he hasn't garnered any accolades as the OC. He is just another lousy hire by the owner.

I guess you don't watch Monday night where Gruden auditions for any job in the NFL. However you did say credible coach...

I don't see that at all....ESPN has him under contract for the next 2 years, and everyone loves him there

if he ever wanted a job, and said he was ready to go back to coaching, the line would not be a short one of teams interested

yeah but he's way to over complimentary of everyone on the broadcast... and he will be back before that 2 years is up.

:awesome:

Agreed though. Chucky's passionate about the game and it shows. I like it.

Haha, never thought I'd see the day Al Davis would be looking better than Jerry Jones :lmao:

On that....I give both Miller and Dan Fouts a little more credit than most because a LOT of the MNF games that season were horrible, horrible games...lots of blowouts and when it got out of hand, Miller and Fouts would start joking around and it was damn funny sometime

Wade wasn't/isn't the problem it's Jerry Jones, he's the problem.

He want's to control everything and it isn't working. He wants to be the GM, a boxing promoter, have cameos on Entourage, make Papa John commercials, get involved with bringing college games, basketball games and concerts to the Death Star, involved with the draft and free agent signings and plenty of other things I'm leaving out. As long as he's alive or at least the GM, the football team is going to suck.

Jason Garrett isn't going to fix anything, he's part of the problem. As I've said before, he still thinks Troy, Emmitt and Michael are still out there in the field with his predictable play calling. Ray Sherman or Joe DeCamillis would've been a better option, but you would lose the team even more.

Then there are the players, Romo is a bust, Barber and Jones need to go, as do Williams and Miles "I got my money" Austin and the whole secondary needs to be benched and/or replaced.

But first the ones that need a ticket out of town are Jason Witten and Mike Jenkins. They're playing like scared confused b***es. They're heartless.

:whatever: can I have a knickel for every time I hear this? And you can pick on any Cowboys you want (including Ware), but I'll stick up for Romo and Witten. Witten's played better for sure, but he has heart. And this season is not on Romo at all in my opinion.

Personally, I don't understand why Jones had given Garrett a huge salary to stay as the OC and the heir apparent of Wade as the HC, because given how talented the Cowboys' offensive players are, the 'Boys don't even lit up the scoreboard. Jones is just fixing a broken dam with some duct tape and cardboards, but right now the team is in such a deep hole not even a HOF coach like Cowhers would've been able to rescue the team, anyway.

I think we only consider the Cowboy's offensive players talented, because the "Talking Heads" say they are. Really? There is a reason why this team have been underperforming for a number of years now... because of the mediocre players they have who have shown flashes of miraculous plays. Being this is Big D, we call them talented; when in actuality, they are just mediocre to good players.

The offensive line has been bad for years now(Romo sacks and knock down #'s), Austin & Williams come and go(inconsistant), Witten is a talent; but starting to fade, and a three-head runningback committee... none capable of being the sole starter, just a compliment, and ROMO, a good talent, mediocre intelligence as QB.

Dallas offensively have been mediocre to good for a number of years. The sweet smell of Big D has being masking the real funk that the Cowboys are. Reason why they lose big games, struggle with other mediocre teams, and dominates the cellar teams. Look at their schedules over the last few years. "Talking Heads" have been picking them for the SuperBowl for four years now... how long will it take before fans outside the Cowboys fan base smell what these "Talking Heads" stepping in.

You don't think Jerry isn't the problem?? :wow: :doh::doh:

Witten is playing like a B***. Did you see the play where he was just let Clay light up Kitna (or whoever had the ball) and run in with the ball while Witten was still in his 3 point stance, and like nothing gets up turns around and looks around like nothing is happening. He may as well celebrated with the Packers because it was pretty much his fault they scored on that one.

And also, they need to bench Kitna and start McGee.

Like they said on tv and the radio this move is nothing more than rearranging the furniture on the Titanic.

Jerry has been the problem and will continue to be the problem but it's the most tired point made since 1989. Give me five players to keep it would be Romo, Witten, Ware, Ratliff, Bryant. That was 1 play where he f**ked up and like I said he's played better. But at least he cares and at least he's not the front running s.o.b.s that the rest of them are.

Rob Ryan or Brian Schotty for Dallas Cowboys.

I'd like both to happen if it does.

You guys want some LULZ? :awesome:

Remember Jimmy Clausen being NFL Ready?

2010 Stats.
48.0QBRat, 51 for 109, 46.8 complete%. 501 yards, 1 TD, 4 INT, 12 rushes for 32 yards, 7 fumbles, 2 lost.

I'm a Panthers fan, but I can smile at the results. I do think Clausen just needs coaching, watching on sideline, maybe fix his throwing motion, and he be a decent starter somewhere.

McCoy. Tebow isn't an NFL QB. And McCoy has beaten the Patriots and the Saints. What has Tebow done?

Plus Orton is doing well

Would you rather have had Tebow or McCoy?

I'd pick McCoy as well. Browns is in a worse shape than Broncos, yet McCoy was able to lead the team past Saints and Pats. Tebow is only the third string QB on a team with good/average QB, so he can definitely take over as the starter if he is good enough. Given the ridiculously lopsided trade McDaniels used to bring him to Denver, he is only there to keep the benches warm.
