he does, and Ive expected him to take the Carolina job and ONLY the Carolina job if he was going to come back to coaching

He's been rumored to go to Carolina. Doesn't he live in Charlotte as well?

Bill Cowher...leading Carolina into Playoffs in 2012 or 2013...mark it down.

Just because of how much I miss the Cowher days of Pittsburgh, I'd probably become a pseudo-Panthers fan as long as he's there. His daughter I believe goes to college in North Carolina, and the rumored reason he retired from coaching was to spend more time with her in her last years with the family (why he then got the broadcasting job, I have no clue).

because he only has to go up to NY 1 or 2 days a week and its a 1.5 2 hr flight

Garrett is stupid to accept the position. Then again, he was stupid not to take the Baltimore job, and the Denver job, and the St. Louis job. He sat around waiting to be head coach in Dallas and now he is getting exactly what he asked for. And unless he can pull off a miracle, he will be fired at the end of the season and his head coaching dreams will be over and he can look forward to a nice long career as an OC.

i don't buy that wade was the real problem, but this is in no way a surprise. until jerry dies off that team is gonna keep having problems

exactly.

the radio sports commentators here in Dallas are saying its Wade's fault

uggh cant believe we blew that game yesterday. We had the Jets dead to rights, and we let them off the hook. Between Suh attempting a PAT, Stanton's awful decision to throw on 3rd down with the Jets having no TO's, and Julian Peterson's idiotic late hit out of bounds on the Jets tying drive, i almost chucked my TV out the window. We handed them the damn game on a freaking platter.

Personally, I don't understand why Jones had given Garrett a huge salary to stay as the OC and the heir apparent of Wade as the HC, because given how talented the Cowboys' offensive players are, the 'Boys don't even lit up the scoreboard. Jones is just fixing a broken dam with some duct tape and cardboards, but right now the team is in such a deep hole not even a HOF coach like Cowhers would've been able to rescue the team, anyway.

I have to say that Jets don't look as good as their 6-2 record would indicate, but a win's a win. But right now there isn't a real dominating team in either conference, and even the Pats lost to the Browns. Hopefully Jets will try to get better instead of drinking their own Kool-Aid.

Where that video of the Coors Light ad of that one coach running the sidelines cause he got a Coors Light. Cause that describes my reaction. Dallas having free drinks tonight.

Yeah we're still toasting the Rangers and hoping for a Cliff Lee signing :yay:. And yes as a life long Cowboys fan I'm resigned to the fact that we won't be good again until Stephen Jone's weekly duties involve stopping by a Highland Park cemetary to refresh the flowers. We're officialy ... the Raiders. :waa::waa::waa:

This firing is purely for PR. The Cowboys will NOT play any better under Garrett. Congrats Jerry Jones on wasting your time

All I can say is that my team is finally winning some games. (Raiders) and that it's about time! :D

Dallas will replace Jason Garrett with........Jason Garrett.

There is no way in hell that any credible head coach would ever go to Dallas.

I guess you don't watch Monday night where Gruden auditions for any job in the NFL. However you did say credible coach...

Gruden is not going to put up with Jerrah's ****.

Cowher and Gruden are going to want control of personnel if they return. Jerry Jones won't give them that.

Gruden will be crazy to go to Dallas; he left Oakland Raiders due to an overbearing owner, and he'd walk into the same situation if he becomes the head coach of Cowboys.

Expect the players in Dallas to not do anything different. They'll play with as much heart for Garrett as they did Phillips, knowing that he's going to be on his way out too at the end of the year.

Exactly.
