Wade is cleaning out his snack drawer, because that is all he is allowed to take with him

I don't think firing Wade prior to the end of the season is going to do anything to help the Cowboys. Either way, they're going to suck and suck hard. Might as well just do it at the end of the season. Who will take over now? Jason Garrett? Does anyone HONESTLY see him as the future HC of the team? I don't. I doubt Jerry does. So why even bother, if that is what is happening.

Hell, they should play Pike ahead of Clausen, he seemed less prone to mistakes and was overall pretty calm.

Sad situation when your Starter gets done for the year, it's even worse when said Starter was Matt Moore.

Goes to Cowboy levels of sad when you have to toss up between Clausen and Pike.

Some people are saying it could be Clausen starting, could be Pike. Fox seems to not be a fan of Clausen..he benched Clausen for Moore after Clausen started 3 games and went 0-3...and he looked worse and worse in each game, esp Chicago game. Moore starts against SanFran and leads Panthers to a victory, then back to being crappy.

I think Moore is gonna be let go after this year with his season ending injury unless either Clausen or Pike suck out there. Richardson should really look at Moore and give him deal to back up, maybe even battle for starting job. I don't wanna see Moore go and next thing you know he is lighting it up out there.

If Pike starts this week, that playbook is gonna be small for him...better let Edwards run wildcat this week or something. No harm in letting Edwards play a series or two of Wildcat or shot gun formation. Although Fox said he rather let Edwards learn his WR position.

Jerry's like the f'n Crypt Keeper.

Ya know, I think we should stick with the ideal discussed last night of Moore being the backup going into next year to whoever they pick up to Start. I mean, all these QB controversies serve no purpose but to foster confusion in an already disorganized franchise. It's especially detrimental to a team with this many young guys on the roster.

Get a qualified Starter, have Moore as backup, and project the order and stability needed at that position.

How about the '05 Colts? Nobody doubted their schedule (remember they started 10-0 or something like that), and they still face-planted in the playoffs. Meanwhile the Steelers, who barely squeaked into the 6th seed ran the post-season table.

True, true. It all matters on who gets hot at the right time. The '07 Giants are living proof of this. Same with the Cardinals the next year. And the Jets the year after that.

They key difference is consistency. The Giants are consistently good. The Steelers, consistently good. Colts, consistently good. To call the Raiders, Bucs, Chiefs, or Rams legit because of good seasons won by the merit of VERY weak schedules is premature. That's all I'm saying.

Matt takes a **** on everyone's teams. That's why he has no friends, he can comment on another team without being a total *****e about it.

:whatever: You're just a bitter Dolphins fan. :oldrazz:

Jerry Jones or Jerry Richardson? Cause I remember the look Richardson had last season during the Vikings/Panthers night game. He had that 'We had this Moore kid the whole time?' He looked truly pissed as Moore was leading an ass whooping of the Vikes. He should unleash his anger in a firing of Fox after the season. Bring in Cowher.

I would love to see Moore on this team, even if he's just the back up. Out of Moore, Clausen, Pike, and Edwards, who will be back next year? I can only see two of the four coming back with a new coaching staff coming in. I doubt a new coach will keep Edwards as a QB or WR on the team.

Well... Al Harris is released. I personally think the Steelers could use him. I still have very little faith in Ike Taylor, Bryant McFadden, and William Gay (Ike could probably be a #2 corner on a number of teams [at best], but I would really like to see a better corner on this team a.s.a.p.) . I don't remember Harris ever having character issues (that said, I'm not positive, so correct me if I'm wrong here), and he would be a nice patchwork solution for the Steelers' secondary for the short-term. I really hope we grab Ras-I Dowling this coming year in the draft.

Nah, I was referring to Jerry Jones, 1/2 of the Brothers of Destruction: Jerry Jones and Al Davis.

As to the QB situation, out of those 4 I'd say Moore and Clausen will return under a new coach. Moore because he knows the system better than the other 3 and Clausen because alot of coaches had some very good things to say about him. He's a project for any head coach.

As to Edwards, the kid's got a ton of skill but he won't be a QB in Carolina and they've already got a truckload of young wideouts.

Al Harris was a great player, in all the years, don't remember him ever causing a problem.

Kinda sad to see him go.

I always hear or read how Al Davis is crazy in Oakland. He should just have a press conference to annouce he is treating the team to Olive Garden...just because he is Davis and likes doing crazy things.

Just imagine this happening...

Al Davis: :cmad:I'm treating the team to Olive Garden and a Madden 11 tourny! And Goodell can suck it.

*Gets fined*

Al Davis: :cmad: make me pay the damn fine.

Now that I got joking out of the way, Carolina also placed LB Dan Connor (hip) on IR. Fox I believe also said LB Thomas Davis is going on IR as well.

I promise this is the last Moore update.

Matt Moore will undergo surgery in two weeks and won't be able to throw again until April. No word on when Connor or Davis will be able to practice again yet, or when Connor's hip surgery is.

You could always trade QBs with Dallas seeing as you're both in the same boat.

Carolina Kitna. :o

It's hard to believe, but Al Davis actually looks like a sensible owner when compared to Jerry Jones now, with Raiders going above .500 and Cowboys still stuck at 1 win this season.

I rather have Moore than Kitna and both may be same price heading into 2011.

I wonder if Richardson will just let Moore go and blame injury history. Moore was put on IR in 2008 due to injury in pre-season. Now he's on IR again in 2010 with second injury of season.

Also I like to say here that the Steelers will blow out the Bengals tonight. 38-17.

Bill Cowher for Panthers coach next season. I'm pretty sure Fox is done at the end of the year.
