I think D'Antoni said Melo might be back at the end of the week, and it'd be interesting if he can play in the game vs the Mavs.

Wouldn't be smart to come back then. I say come back Friday against the Hornets in limited minutes. If they lose that game on Sunday against the Mavs and it's his first game back, guess who's going to get blamed? I say get a little run time on Friday against a scrub team because right now, Dallas is not the team you want to practice against. That or wait until after Dallas.

Yeah, it would be better if Melo and Lin develop some chemistry together while beating up the hapless Hornets, instead of doing it against the much-tougher Mavs.

Btw, I heard some of the snippets of the interview Melo done recently with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. When he was asked if he'll still take the last shot, Melo replied that he would absolutely take the last shot, because he has done so for 9 years. Uh, Melo, shouldn't the correct response be that it doesn't matter, as long as the team wins in the end? What happens if he was triple-teamed in the final seconds and he still wanted the ball? He should've learned that by now after spending 9 years in the NBA.

Your right Raiden, but let's real........................Melo is a proven superstar and truly is clutch, unlike Lebron who runs away from this kind of thing. But man, him coming back on Sunday is a mistake! If he comes back and they are trailing, I can hear the crowd booing him coming into the game now!

cant wait until my Heat crush the Knicks so this Linsanity stuff can stop. i dont even like the Mavs and hope they can silence it too.

He has skills and is very talented but still did it against weak teams. I'd like to see just how bad elite teams will punish that many turn overs.

The Lakers arent the same team they were and Lin did great against them. But the Knicks wont beat teams like the Celtics, Bulls, Heat, OKC, Spurs, Mavs or Nuggets.

Bulls are going to fly by the regular season...The key will be these other players stepping up during the playoffs.

It helps that they have a great coach who was the former assistant coach of the Celtics as well. I think the reason they're doing well without Rose is because they play defense in every game, and unlike offense which can be streaky, good defense can always keep you close in the game until the final seconds. Once Rose returns the Bulls will become alot more scary.
