Poeman, you still disagree with me about Melo? Im telling you the man has been back ever since Amare went down. He's the 2nd best pure scorer in the league IMO (and clutch), with an arsenal of moves, in the post & out, and thrives doing his own thing. Not trying to feed anyone else and certainly not trying to acquiesce to Lin.

I still think Knicks are a better team with Lin than without, but it seems like Melo is finally clicking on all cylinders.

Yeah if it was 1998. I can totally see the Heat beating the hell out of the Knicks.

Because the Knicks were good back then. Well goodish.

Without all the hoopla, perhaps. But clearly, he was walking on eggshells trying not to upset "Linsanity" and making sure Amare got involved.

They got lucky.

One of those four missed free throws woulda won the game.....but they missed. Oh well. Get em Tuesday. :o

Damn, didn't get off work till 2am, just watched the replay of that Knicks / Bulls game, it was actually pretty damn good. Melo going Sub Zero all game, almost made me forget how badly JR Smith sucked for stretches.

Damn good game.

Not saying the Knicks will win Tuesday because I believe they will lose, but if they beat Chicago in Chitown or if it's close, will you change your mind that they will at least be a legit threat in the East? If Dantoni was cut earlier, these guys could have been challenging for the eastern conference title.

So what exactly is Lamar Odom's problem? Is he really that depressed that the Lakers traded him?

I don't know, haven't been watching Khloe and Lamar. :o

Hmmmmmm, nope. :p

I saw that also and don't understand it. It's not like the Mavs are stacked inside. Maybe Rick Carlisle got tired of that Kardishian crap because another 7 footer that can handle the ball like a guard will always be a plus. I was hoping that he'd be released and could go to the Knicks but the Mavs did a big F U to him and just deactivated him. Smart on there part because they won't release him and give him a chance to win a ring.

Better to have him languishing on the bench than f**kin' you up for an opposing team in the playoffs.

You know Khole would be pushing for Lamar to go to NY and play for the Knicks so the show can be in the big apple.

I think Lamar is a guy who is easily distracted over personal problems, which he had plenty in the off-season, and he clearly wanted to remain in Los Angeles despite pushed the team to trade him after that CP3 debacle. I think he'll be happier if Lakers somehow pick him up from the waiver in the off-season, but I'm not sure if they will do that. Oh, and Lamar didn't like having to play SF in Dallas, and preferred the PF position that Dirk is playing as well.

I don't think Knicks would want him.

Dang I feel so sad for Knick fans. You know the definition of Linsanity? Repeating the same thing over & over again, hoping idiots will buy in to it.

Lamar seems to have so many personal issues going on that I'm not all that surprised he had such a disappointing season.

I think Odom would be a good fit on the Knicks.

But they need to beat the Bucks Wed nite way more than they need to beat Chicago again. Both wins would be great though.:woot:

As a 76ers fan I'm concerned we might not even make the playoffs now. And Doug Collins is not even to blame, he is a good head coach. The players just lost confidence and cannot seem to regain it back. This is the time when we need a leader to be on our team to regain the lockerroom.

Kobe will miss second straight game against the hornets. Hope they lose and the clips win against the grizzlies

Melo with the clutch gene...Now if they can do it again on Tuesday, then **** just got real.
