Apparently Rose and Evan Turner don't like each other.....Apparently Turner thinks he's better than Rose.....well.....I think this first round series has it's story. "Easier team". They need to sweep they asses. Sweep em hard! Right in the butt! :argh:

If Amare averages 20 and 10, I can see the Knicks beating the Heat. It's not that the Knicks are that good, it's just that Heat are not as good as people are making them. Just use the Boston strategy and play man to man. Let LBJ and Wade get their 60 and stay at home. LBJ is more Magic than Jordan and if you make him a scorer, not sure how he handles it but alas, what do I know? I'm just a sex symbol. :o

Lol, I don't know about your sex symbol status Doc, but I do know I'm damn excited. More than I usually am for the playoffs, which is saying something.

I just feel this year is a little more open then fans think. It may not materialize until the later rounds, but I smell an upset or two...

Sixers will win 1 or 2 games. It will be more of a series then people think it will be.

Oh I agree Doc. It's wide open! OKC and Dallas is not going to be a sweep like a lot of experts(Barkley)are predicting. I can easily see Dallas pulling the upset over them because of Westbrook doing his best Kobe impressions and not giving Durant the ball, plus Dallas is a veteran team that still has Terry and Dirk. Not really ready to write them off yet. And again, I think the Knicks can beat the Heat. Spoe is not a good coach and he doesn't know how to maximize his talent.

Particularly if they take what Turner said to heart.

Anybody down for a playoff pool this year? I know we haven't done it the last couple years but its definitely something we should do it again

I'm hopefully optimistic about Lakers' chances this season, and while both OKC and SA are tough I think Lakers' experiences make them lethal against against team they face. And last season's disappointment imo had alot to do with the fact that Lakers had appeared in three straight Finals in the previous years. This season, with a true PG in Ramon Sessions, in addition to Kobe and their two 7-footers, can make them a dangerous team.

Let's hope so. I feel as long as they keep turnovers and long shots to a minimum, they'll be fine. Anything that slows the game down is crucial to their success, controlling tempo is paramount. Against the Nuggets (and hopefully OKC later) it will decide the series. Those two 7 footers can be liabilities in transition just as they can be dominant in the paint.

You know, people are sleeping on Memphis...I don't think they will get pass the second round, because I don't think San Antonio will be so easy this time; but, they will have a similar run as last year...certainly, the deepest team by far.

I'm watching ESPN this morning and they were talking about the Heat/Knicks series. Since the All Star break the Knicks are easily a top 10 team in the league while the Heat have been playing almost .500 basketball. But the "experts" said that the regular season doesn't count because the playoffs are a new season basically. In the exact same breath, they said that the Knicks lost all 3 meetings to the Heat in the regular season(despite their entire frontline not playing together not once in none of the meetings)but yet those matchups count. Again, I'm a Knicks fan and I do think they have a chance to win but the media is constantly blowing the Heat up, when you look at them, outside of Wade and James, they are not that good and at the same time, just spit on the Knicks. That's why a lot of people really hate the Heat, specifically LBJ. The media constantly tries to build this guy up and he is really a great player but my gawd do they go over board.

I don't think anyone is sleeping on Memphis. They along with the Spurs and Lakers have a great chance to come out of the west. I can see them beating the Clips in 5, 6 if the Clippers are lucky. It's OKC that I see getting beat by Dallas because Westbrook is going to try to be the hero. :o

Rose, nooooooooooooooooooo! :csad:

Sucks to be a Bulls fan. :o

But there are a couple of people who say the Bulls are better without Rose. Let's see how true that statement is.

Wow. This is why people think the league is rigged. 20+ free throws and the entire Knicks front line in foul trouble in the first half. This is horrible. And I'm sure Heat fans(real ones)don't want to win this way but this is Lakers/Kings bad the way the game is called. This is horrible.

I'm glad Van Gundy called them out. Anyway Knicks will probably get swept now. Too bad we dont have an old school enforecer show these flopping prima donnas whata real hard foul/flagrant is ah well. I give up see you all next year and congrats to the Miami Heat on their championship, hope the refs get rings as well.

Yeah Lobo. This was a momentum killer because they are saying in so many words, it's going to be this way the entire series. You have a bigger frontline so they ain't playing so it will even it out. Stern is making Ted look more and more credible.

Guess after this is over in 4 we can all get prepared for the zen master :o

Oh man the refball is getting so obvious. I don't even like the Knicks but when the arena goes dead, the announcers are quite, etc everyone's kinda pausing and thinking "What the ****?"

Tyson Chandler needs to start coughing on these Heat players, get'em sick. Th refs are horrid right now but the Knicks aren't playing good ball either.

Down goes Shump.

Like the Knicks back court wasn't thin enough as it is.
