What a game! I am still hoping the 49ers will pull this one out. Anyone's game right now.
Alex Smith is the luckiest guy in football. His defense, running game and special teams give him great field position and opportunities that are creating the illusion of him being competent.![]()

I agree Smith isn't great, but he has a better overall team around him than Eli does, IMO. Which is why I picked the 49ers in the game, and still feel they will win. Don't always have to be the better QB to win.
Maybe, but Smith doesn't deserve to be in a Super bowl. 7-14 with 149 yards? Once again, his team is winning in spite of him. Which says a hell of a lot about Harbaugh.

Last time I checked football was a team sport.![]()

Umm....ok?
I agree, but why I like this team is they are more old fashioned football. Good defense and rushing! Not like these teams who chuck it 100 times a game. He does what this team needs him to do. All he has to do.

They were screwed out of that time out
Yeah, but with a proper quarterback, they would be the best team in the NFL. Smith is holding them back from really being mind blowingly good. Of course, they don't need to be the best team in football. Just the best team for three games. Such is the beauty of NFL playoffs.
