Could be. You don't seem to be throwing hissy fits about it, lmaol. And Hollywood is an industry where you can work from just about anywhere given your position. But, here, and timing - could be a joke - but could be wrong too.

I'm kind of the guy who needs to delete his profile from websites once things really get moving, because for the whole forum to see (and why I'm laughing at FilmNerd right now and dragging him further down) - I'm not good at keeping quiet. I'm good at semi-keeping quiet, but not fully lol. I seriously need to work on that. But, yeah, anyone who needs a good laugh look up under my account Wonder Woman and (if it works) the word "waterfall" which might lead to the other film I somewhat talked about here to see how far I'm dragging FNJ down right now. And no, I've never said "big shot" - that's, as said, just not me. Not my style. Not how I roll. I don't even want the money involved with it when it gets to that point. I'm even feeling guilty posting this stuff even though it is just directed at you because I might sound narcissistic and offend others.

Blame my age, immaturity, and how funny this for me. t: With all honesty, sincerely hoping I get less egotistical-sounding with age. And that's it.

As said, it all sadly comes down to money. They don't look at things further than that. As a writer, that's kind of depressing. But if they're bottom line there - I highly doubt they're focusing on anything other than money and how to bring in their next big buck. That's just the studio system for you. Nothing more, nothing less.

Deathly Hallows - Part II most definitely would have. Not so sure about Avatar. The whole thing there was about the experience of "being in Pandora."

Perhaps Bond can do back to back billions. I was of the opinion TDK was a fluke yet was proven wrong, I'm hesitant to say it won't happen again for Bond. In fact my whole year for box office has been a write-off for me. I got Hunger Games, Avengers, TDKR, Ted, Skyfall, Prometheus, Battleship even The Hobbit all completely wrong. Just goes to show there's no science behind box office, you can put all the facts and figures down you like but in the end the general audiences are the ones who determines the outcome.

This year is just one of 11 to feature three films sell more than 50 million tickets domestically. That would put the films over $400 million in revenue when adjusting for inflation. Below are the adjusted dollar figures, followed by what they earned in the year of release. There were more years where two strong films crossed over 50 million but getting the hat trick is very rare.
1984, 2003, 2004 were the only years where it was close to having four films cross that mark. I was wrong with my prediction that The Hobbit would sell 50 million tickets and make 2012 the first year with four films to sell that many tickets. It could be done in 2015.

2015? Seems like a no to me. A lot of questions surrounding Justice League. SW:VI could reach that by name alone I guess. I'm not sure Hunger Games sequels will match the audience of the first movie. Same thing could happen to it like Potter, curiosity gets burned off with the first movie and they don't return.

Also I know the last 2 books are not as well received as the first. I can see some people, probably not enough to make a huge dent in the profits, who wont really be interested in seeing Mockingjay in theaters

Doubt that it matters, the last Twilight book was pretty negative relative to the rest of the series. Only people that will be effected are the general audience, by then it should be stabilized.
