Who would win in a fight! Jack or John Reese? :hehe:

His SG-1 president was the best. Especially when he stood up to Anubis

Watching last night I felt his delivery was pretty much the same as his SG-1 president.

A bit dead pan but slightly more serious

Ratings Breakdown:
As expected, the return of “24” on Fox, themed “Live Another Day,” was not as strong as its most recent season-opener in January 2010. “24,” headlined by Kiefer Sutherland, scored a very respectable 5.8 rating/9 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 87 percent above Fox’s week-ago combination of a repeat of “Bones” (2.8/ 4 on April 28) and the sophomore season-finale of “The Following” (3.4/ 5). And it resulted in diminished overnight results on competing ABC, CBS and NBC. But versus the two-hour debut for its eighth season on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, “24” dropped by 23 percent. And compared to the 7.7/11 for its Monday return on Jan. 18, 2010, this was down by 25 percent. In other words, “24” was positive, but by no means a record.

Well, weird start time for a season... let alone it's a weird season and 4 years after it ended it's 8th season. From Twitter, I felt this show barely lost a beat. Lot's of people talking and watching, who actually love this show. It'd be hard to bring in new people, even more than what the dvds or previous seasons did...

I never knew how much i missed Jack until i watched the premiere. Like an old friend. Also, Jack's more bad ass as a fugitive than a government agent.

I feel sorry for Heller and also the Star Wars Episode 7 guy. And I like the Prime Minister.

Bauer would wipe the floor with Bond and Bourne.

Why would it be MI5?

MI5- Protecting the UK, its citizens and interests, at home and overseas, against threats to national security

MI6- Gathering intelligence outside the UK in support of the government's security, defence, foreign and economic policies

That comes from the British Secret Service website.
